Top 5 Online Survey Sites
Top Cash Paying Survey Sites April 19th, 2010One thing I know for sure. Online paid survey sites are cyclical and my list of favorites changes almost monthly. Most of the irritations lately have come with temporary glitches and payment policies, not to mention all of the headaches that go along with merging survey sites. So if you ask me on any given day what’s the best survey site, I’ll give you a different answer, depending on which survey site is having the least problems at the moment.
On the other hand, there are other survey sites that I didn’t like at all in the beginning, but have warmed to over time. Some survey sites actually listen to member complaints and suggestions and work to improve the way they handle issues and payments.
Another thing I know for sure. No online survey site is perfect.
With this in mind, I made a list for Mark back in February of my top survey sites. Here’s my list of Top 5 from that time period:
I thought it would be interesting if I could compile a list of our blog reader’s top 5 online survey sites. I’m sure that we’ll get many differing opinions on which survey sites work best for you. Leave a comment or send me an email, and I’ll post the results in an upcoming blog post. Let us know what YOU think!

i agree with most all your postings, except that i have never got any incentivs from survey spot but instant win games. i have read and/or heard that some people have gotten money, products to test, etc. i also would add pinecone, at leasr at #2 because, though they only pay 3 dollars for each product tested, they pay immediately and always on time.surveys get more frequent as time goes on.

You’re right on the mark. I listed my 5 favorites before I opened the newsletter, and they’re the same 5 you listed. Good job!

Barry, great minds think alike
Rosedlea, I love Pinecone too, and it’s in my top 10. Heath

1) Opinion Outpost
2) Mysurvey.com
3) Lightspeed
4) Synovate
5) e-rewards
I’ve earned the most from outpost and mysurvey. I like the lightspeed surveys because often have videos to watch and that’s more entertaining, but I hate that if there is a technical problem, you cannot get back into the survey and have wasted lots of time. I like synovate for their product testing since I like getting free products, and e-rewards has worked well for me only because I can link it to pay into my Upromise account.
Survey Spot and Toluna have both disappointed me lately with their recent changes. I think the new changes at ipsos i-say has some real potential. I’d love to get onto Pinecone but so far have had no luck being accepted.
And I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong, but I have had no luck reaching payout level on Global Test Market. I get lots of survey offers but can’t seem to reach the threshold for all I try.
Those are my thoughts, for what they are worth!

my survey is at the top of my list followed by opinion outpost. 3rd would be pinecone, surveyhead and ewards.
SurveySpots use to be the top of my list but they owe me money that I have never seemed to be able to collect since they switched over to the point system. I must say they send the most survey’s and I am correspondence from them that they admit they made a mistake and still owe me but I have never received it.I am in the process of elementing who I receive survey’s from so I can downsize my incomming survey mail. Reading what others have to say is going to help me do this.
Thanks for your hard work

I just don’t understand why Survey Spot keeps getting such high honors. I belonged to them for about eight months and never earned a cent!!! At any rate…I just cleaned out my panel list, and here’s the best of what remains:
1. Pinecone-
2. Valued Opinion
3. SurveyHead
4. GlobalTestMarket
5. Opinion Outpost

Unfortunately, I can’t say that I’ve had as much success with Opinion Outpost as everyone else. I’ve only received $5 and the last survey they sent me was back in October. I updated all of my profiles, but I guess they just don’t want me
Oh well. Here’s my top five:
MySurvey
Opinion Place
Synovate
Pinecone Research
Valued Opinions
April 19th, 2010 at 5:42 pm
1. Opinion Outpost
2. NFO/MySurvey
3. Toluna
4. Synovate
5. Dailysurveypanel
Survey spot doesn’t even make the list for me. I couldn’t make a dime off of Globatltestmarket. And for some reason Pinecone won’t accept me in their panel.

Hello, I’m not sure how to actually contact you.. but, I was wondering if you could review CintOpinions.com .
While taking a survey on Opinion Outpost, I got an invitation to join CO, but I have no clue what it is and couldn’t find really anything online about it.
I’d appreciate it if you could review it..
Thanks

April 20th, 2010 at 7:40 am
1. Opinion Outpost
2. GlobalTestMarket
3. SurveySpot
4. SurveyHead
5. Valued Opinions
SurveyHead made my top 5 even though you have to wait such a long time to get paid. I’ve been waiting almost 2 months for a pending payment.

I seem to qualify for a lot of their surveys, but the problem is, you get points to enter their giveaways – you got nothing like gift cards, money, products. Personally, I don’t think it’s fair to use my time to help them out, then have to designate points into something I might or might not win. (Yes, I know I don’t have to do them, but this is just my humble opinion.)
April 20th, 2010 at 10:51 am
My next five:
6. Toluna/Greenfield $247.02 (2008-02-11) ($247.02 rec’d) COMBINED EARNINGS FROM TOLUNA/GREENFIELD
7. Valued Opinions $241.30 ($20 po) (Amazon gc [gift certificates] and VISA pre-paid gc) (2008-02-18) ($241.15 rec’d)
8. GetPaidSurveys $205 (PayPal) (2009-02-10) ($205 rec’d) ($30 from contests)
9. MySurvey.com $140 (1000 = $10 po) (product tests) (2008-02-02) ($140 rec’d)
10. MyView $136 (2009-03-01) (pre-paid VISA debit card) ($136 rec’d)
April 20th, 2010 at 3:40 pm
At the present time, these would be my top 5.
1. Survey Spot
2. Lightspeed
3. Synovate (Global Opinion Panels)
4. E-Poll
5. Dollar Surveys
April 21st, 2010 at 11:32 pm
@EDDIE LEIDENHEIMER: I think you may have Pinecone mixed up with another survey site as Pinecone doesn’t work on a point system but rather instant payment via Paypal or check.
Also, Lightspeed confuses me. I haven’t received a survey invitation from them in over 7 months compared to before when I received them daily. And surveyspot…I don’t even qualify half the time.
1.Pinecone
2.ERG Surveys
3.Synovate- haven’t been paid but constantly receive surveys
4.Harris Poll Online
5.Ipsos-I-Say
April 27th, 2010 at 3:35 pm
I understood that Pinecone was by invitation only. I’ve not qualified for many surveys on various panels because I am not the major grocery shopper in my household or do to age. I too received an invite for Cint.
Many panels I cannot join because my live-at-home daughter is a member.
Need info on a panel? Search the web.
