So far so good. I think I’m going to likeTestspin. Now, as with everything else, there are those out in “survey world” who disagree. But my experience so far has been positive.

First I googled it, and read lots of reviews. I’ll have to say they were all over the map. Either people were putting it at the top of their list and loved it, or were slamming it. Most of the negative comments about it I found on survey Police where people complained of getting error messages during surveys, or being disqualified after taking a survey for 20 minutes. Yup, those things would tick me off in a big way, but that hasn’t been my experience so far.

And I’m not all that fond of gift cards, so when I first joined and they said that the only reward was a $10 gift card to Amazon, I was a little less than thrilled. But soon, very soon, they will be offering payment by check or Paypal which makes me oh so happy. I also like the fact that you can go to the website and see what the available surveys or ‘testspins” are.

One word of caution though. I think that they take their rules and regulations very seriously. I had read a few complaints about non payment in certain cases and I think these were probably due to breaking their rules below:

“Sometimes it takes more than 30 days to be credited, so please be patient. If you still aren’t credited it is more than likely due to the following reasons that were listed in the Terms of Agreement you “agreed” to when registering with TestSpin:

  1.
    1.

      1. Registering with TestSpin by giving us false or misleading information
      2. Changing your profile and giving false or misleading information
      3. Creating multipleTestSpin accounts
      4. Taking the same survey more than once
      5. Taking a survey, not qualifying, then taking the same survey again with knowledge of how to get through the qualifying process
      6. Telling another member how to get through the survey qualifying process
      7. Intentionally giving faulty responses on a survey
      8. Completing a survey so quickly that you would not have been physically able to read the questions
      9. Posting our links to surveys anywhere on the Internet
      10. Registering if you are under the age of 13 years old
      11. If we request a specific Tester profile in our email invite and you do not fit that profile, but attempt to take the survey anyway
      12. Registering or changing user profile with usernames or email addresses that TestSpin deems indecent
      13. Unable to answer profile verification questions

I think Testspin is worth a shot. I’ve not had any problems yet, so I think if you follow the rules and visit the site regularly, you’ll be pleased with the results.

One last thing, there was a problem with the Feedburner email system, so my posts from Monday and Tuesday didn’t go out until today…and they were both in one email. It’s the first time that’s happened, so I’ll let it slide :) So sorry for the delay.

Tomorrow is the LAST day of the April/May blog contest. I’ll announce a winner at the end of the day for the lucky $200 winner. Stay tuned….and don’t miss another post. Subscribe by email or RSS to get each new one delivered to your email address or feed-reader.
