Survey Savvy: Updating a Legitimate Survey Site
Top Cash Paying Survey Sites November 21st, 2008You’ll find a review of Survey Savvy on this blog but I didn’t write it! My predecessor wrote about it in his first and only post before I took over. As I was filling out my latest survey Savvy survey tonight, I realized that I hadn’t actually written about it yet. And this is one of MY favorite survey sites! I got this message when I completed the survey (I go by Heath, but Ann Heath is actually my given name

Ann, |
| Thank you for completing our survey L1078!
Your surveysavvy account will be credited $5 within four to six weeks. You may request payment at that time by visiting your member page, clicking on the “My Account” tab, and selecting “Request Payment.” |
I’ve had good luck with Survey Savvy. I just finished a survey about perfume, which paid $5 for about 20 minutes of work. I generally have gotten at least 2 surveys a month, but in October and November I’ve averaged about 4. It was with Survey Savvy that I was asked to participate in an online community, which paid me in a $10 Amazon gift card every week for about 4 weeks. Most of the complaints that I hear about Survey Savvy are about the infrequency of their surveys. I don’t mind that at all, as long as the ones that I get are good ones! As usual, demographics matter, and there is no rhyme not reason to who gets what and when. I’ve had people tell me that they get very few and have never qualified…go figure.
Payment is by check and and takes about 6 weeks to process. Keep in mind that you have to request your check or it won’t be sent. No Paypal, but they are very reliable and there is no minimum to request a check. I’ve gotten checks for $1, which in hindsight is a little silly. But that was in the beginning when I wasn’t sure what I would earn. An average of $3.00 is paid to members for each survey completion, and as a bonus, surveysavvy offers entries into monthly sweepstakes every time you don’t qualify for a survey but has completed the survey screener.
If you are looking for a good solid survey site, Survey Savvy fits the bill!

10. SurveySavvy $88.00 (Joined: 2008-03-01) ($88.00 rec’d)
I joined SurveySavvy March 2008 and I have qualified for and taken 13 surveys for $88. This is enough to place them 12th on my list of my 35 best survey sites, but not enough to win any awards. You can expect to earn between $1 and $10 for each survey that you qualify for. They pay by check, not PayPal and the checks usually arrive in 4-6 weeks.
I understand that they have an excellent referral system, but I have never felt comfortable referring my friends to try and get them to take surveys that will also pay me.
The surveys are interesting enough, when I qualify for them, and their customer service always resolves disputed survey payments, which have occaisionally popped up. I would say everyone needs to be a member of SurveySavvy, but they won’t be making hundreds of dollars a year unless they are in the IT field or get very active promoting and referring their friends to the site.

$20 of my SurveySavvy earnings came from installing the Neilsen software on my computer last November 2008.

Currently almost all the Survey Savvy surveys I have been offered I can’t complete because htey are not compatible with IE8.
Hopefully they’ll be able to get that updated soon, so far haven’t got much offered to me, but I haven’t been a member too long either.

Hello, when you have completed a survey on surveysavvy, how long does it take before it is credited to my account?
Thanks

Sometimes they just never bother to credit you and when you email them they reply like this:
Hello,
Thank you for your participation in the SurveySavvy community.
L1839 Account credited $1 on 8/26/09.
L1880 Account credited $1 on 10/21/09.
L2094 Account credited $3 on 12/22/09.
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
I am here to help,
David
I just requested my last check for $3. I don’t think I was credited for three of my completed surveys, but they replied that they have been credited. There is no way of knowing. I could be wrong…

I never get any survey invites from Surveysavvy anymore. They used to be one of my best paying sites at one time.
