In the spirit of Super Tuesday, I propose that a candidate’s dancing ability is completely underrated. What could say more about a person’s character than his or her rhythm, or lack thereof? I think it says everything about leadership, openness to new ideas, and charisma, don’t you? (OK, go with me here, this is my lame attempt for a segue to a video : ))

Opinion Outpostis a relative newcomer in the land of online surveys, but it’s one of my favorites. It is extremely well laid out and easy to navigate. There is an area where you can look at your detailed survey history, available surveys, and surveys pending completion. What you have earned is readily accessible, with an easy to understand accounting of your points (money earned) to date conveniently located in one area. This is a points system, but a very simple one, 10 points =$1. When you have earned 50 points ($5), you can cash out and receive a check in the mail.

Opinion Outpost’s average survey pays $3 to $10, and I have gotten 1 to 2 a week since I joined them. They usually have a short screener survey, to see if you qualify. The survey I took today was an interesting and concise energy survey that took about 20 minutes and paid $3 (30 points) The points generally post within a few minutes, which saves you from the inevitable hand wringing while wondering if you got credit for your time. Customer service, so far, has been superior, as my questions have been answered the day I sent them.

My only complaint is the random wild-west theme (I guess all of the other alliteration choices to pair with “opinion” were already taken ;) ) but hey, that’s just me. Come to think of it, there are more than a few “survey sites” that could do the name “Opinion Outhouse” proud!!!

I’ll leave you with a virtual mountain bike experience, which looks like so much fun!

But then again, I’m guessing that if I’m weak-kneed and nauseous watching the video, flying through the air on a bike won’t be my thing.
