Everyone seems to be talking about BigSpot these days including myself. Several weeks ago, I did a review of Big Spot in response to hundreds of emails sent asking for me to check it out. It’s unusual to see a survey site advertised on TV, so I’m guessing that explains all of the curiosity about it. Every time I turn on my television there’s the Big Spot commercial again.

Why am I doing another review so soon? It seems as if there have been lots of changes with Big Spot, even in a few short weeks, so I thought it only fair to review the new additions.

BigSpot.com which I reviewed previously (click here to see this review) has since added a survey panel, BigSpot.com Panel which actually does offer surveys.  BigSpot.com Panel is  affiliated with United Sample/surveyHead.  I registered for the Panel part and was credited with $5 for sign-up. There were 8 surveys available from the onset in my account. Payment is by Paypal when your account balance reaches $20. The panel set up is very much like SurveyHead and VizuPanel. surveys go into the Pending status until they are verified. From the website:

Each survey is unique and requires different number of interviews. Our client may take a few days to a few weeks to review the information received by each respondent. If the survey you took is also being conducted in other countries, keep in mind it will take longer than normal to get cleared. All surveys are normally verified within 4 weeks of completing the survey.

This looks like a survey panel that is legitimate. I still stand by my original review of BigSpot in its original form, as it only has a list of surveys sites to join. Unless you get reviews and information about each site, like you do with Yourfreesurveys, I don’t see the point.  But the new panel does offer surveys directly to you, so it’s worth taking a look.
