Hi,
Has anyone else got the $20 survey opportunity from Lightspeed, and have u joined up? I am talking about the one for consumersay.com , where u have 2 give them access 2 your credit card, so they can track your spendings.
Well, i joined up, but haven’t completed the registration, since i feel a bit hesitant to give them access to my bank account.
Also, the mail said, i would only have 2 give my credit card no, so they can track it, but midway in the registration they are also asking for the bank account no, and the password. I mean, come on!.
How can i give my bank password? That would give them access to everything, including my personal info. I am having doubts whether, it is worth the risk for only $20.
Also, i could not see any option, where i can cancel my account if i needed. Most probably i would have 2 call them, or send an Email 2 customer care 2 get it cancelled. That means i would not have the power, to cancel the account whenever i want.
So, what do u say? Do u think it’s worth it? Have any of u joined it?
Any suggestions are welcome.

Hi Jash! I got that one a while back but didn’t join. That seems way too risky for me. Bank account and password? Never, ever. $20 isn’t nearly ehough money to take that chance. Just my opinion

I did get a $20 survey opportunity from Lightspeed but it wasn’t that Consumersay crap. Actually it wasn’t $20, it was 2000 points and thats not exactly $20. It was about a computer program that I was asked to use for one month.
I also got that Consumersay email but didn’t join because I don’t have a credit card. I have debit card which is a whole lot better that credit. Regardless I wouldn’t join them because $20 is a too low reward.

When you get older, u’ll see that u need credit cards to build ur credit… and a good credit is necessary 4 SO MANY THINGS!!!

That MAY or MAY NOT happend but the bottom line is that why would I use a credit card if its not my money. It is money that I have to pay back but with a debit card that IS my money that belongs to me and I DON’T have to pay it back.

Don’t give anyone access to your bank information for $20, unless of course, you only have $20 or less in the accounts…

A Debit Card is a Hell lot better than a credit card. I bet there are many people who would agree with me and of course there are many reason why they do. Anywho, I also bet there are many ways to create “credit” without actually having a credit card. But hey what do i know!!
