African American Voice: Top 25 Online Survey Site Review
Advice, Survey Site Reviews, Top Cash Paying Survey Sites February 20th, 2008I’ve decided that being an invalid is not my thing. As I reported yesterday, I broke my foot over the week-end while babysitting my nieces. Woe is me. I can’t walk because it feels like I’m stepping on daggers. I can’t drive because my boot is so wide it spans both the brake and the gas pedal at the same time and that’s not conducive to stopping OR starting my car. The pain medication makes me goofy, sleepy, and incoherent simultaneously, so all activities are…umm… different. The good news is that I’m not at the beach in China
African American Voice is a survey panel exclusively for African Americans consumers to voice their opinions and participate in the development of products and services for their community. It is under the same parent company as Global Test Market, one of my favorite online survey panels, so it works in much the same way. This is an excerpt from their website:
The African-American Voice is devoted to providing a forum for African American consumers to have a “voice”, bringing the opinions of African Americans to decision makers and companies around the world. The African-American Voice’s development and approach has been deeply influenced by the African American community. Its objective is to provide its panelists with a real-time opportunity to express their opinions on relevant topics.
surveys are emailed to members and Market points are awarded for completed surveys. The good news is that you are guaranteed a 50 point minimum for completing a survey. Most surveys are pay between 50 and 100 points ($2.50 to $5) and take no longer than 20 minutes to complete. African American Voice pays by check when your account reaches 1000 points ($50). Checks are mailed to the address that you provide. This is a no nonsense survey panel that pays cash for your time!
I’ll close on a positive note…don’t you love the new look of our blog? Pretty cute, huh? That’s me sitting at the computer with my cup of green tea. I hope that all the color and good vibes will inspire you to write me a comment and let me know what you think!
Here’s a cute video that I found…

Thanks for the great reviews and amusing videos. I appreciate your insight into the world of the “survey taking professional” as I am just starting to immerse myself in it.

I like the new layout of this website. I think it stands out more because the other one was very plain and basic. I also like the video. It was very entertaining.
PS- Thanks for making me aware of of Valued Opinions and Clear voice Survey, sites that I wasn’t already a member of.

I just received my first African American Consumer Panel Survey invitation, and I joined this past October! I was excited to finally receive one. I’m hoping I’ll start seeing more after responding, otherwise, it will take an awfully long time to cash out. Love your blog!

Oh I really had wished that this panel would have worked out well for me…but I had to un subscribe. The cashout was 1000 pts. I was stuck at 55 pts. for over 8 months!
Received only 3 invites and either disqualified for them or had technical problems. I feel as if I never had a “voice” with this one. Very disappointed and I did email them and let them know.
