I’ve decided that being an invalid is not my thing. As I reported yesterday, I broke my foot over the week-end while babysitting my nieces. Woe is me. I can’t walk because it feels like I’m stepping on daggers. I can’t drive because my boot is so wide it spans both the brake and the gas pedal at the same time and that’s not conducive to stopping OR starting my car. The pain medication makes me goofy, sleepy, and incoherent simultaneously, so all activities are…umm… different.  The good news is that I’m not at the beach in China :)

African American Voice is a survey panel exclusively for African Americans consumers to voice their opinions and participate in the development of products and services for their community. It is under the same parent company as Global Test Market, one of my favorite online survey panels, so it works in much the same way. This is an excerpt from their website:

The African-American Voice is devoted to providing a forum for African American consumers to have a “voice”, bringing the opinions of African Americans to decision makers and companies around the world. The African-American Voice’s development and approach has been deeply influenced by the African American community. Its objective is to provide its panelists with a real-time opportunity to express their opinions on relevant topics.

surveys are emailed to members and Market points are awarded for completed surveys. The good news is that you are guaranteed a 50 point minimum for completing a survey. Most surveys are pay between 50 and 100 points ($2.50 to $5) and  take no longer than 20 minutes to complete. African American Voice pays by check when your account reaches 1000 points ($50). Checks are mailed to the address that you provide. This is a no nonsense survey panel that pays cash for your time!
