Currently my favortite song is Devour by Shinedown from their aldum called "The Sound of Madness."

Please feel free to post anything about music in this thread.
Here is song lyrics from one song in my Media Library
I had a vision
Great tribulation as the world has never known
The sun shall barken
The Moon shed her light
Men will take death
But be unable to find it
In the awesome battle of Armageddon
The End is Here
You came to me
in a dream last night.
You were standing
in a brilliant light.
One minute here
but the next you were gone.
I thought you could stay
but I was so wrong.
The end is here
The game is over
No more pretending
No more
NO MORE!!
The end is here.
The end is here.
The end is here.
THE END IS HERE!
THE END IS HERE!
(musical interlude)
THE END IS HERE!

That is a lot of classic artists and most of them I have never heard their music. However, I have heard the same songs by the Eagles including "Hotel California" and "Take it to the Limit"

I just scored tickets to see John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater Revival fame for August 24 in Charlottesville, VA! OK, I am out of Chardonnay and I have to get up and sell my handcrafted sterling silver lapis lazuli jewelry at the Lynchburg Community Market tomorrow morning at 7am, so I will leave you all to post amongst yourselves!

I also like some of the songs by Alter Bridge. They are an Alternative Rock band that recently released album called Blackbird. One of their singles from that album is called "Rise Today". Here are a small sample of this great song:
The wind is blowing cold
Think we lost our way tonight
Think we lost our hope to sorrow
Feels like were all alone
Running further from what’s right
And there are no more heroes to follow
So what are we becoming?
Where did we go wrong?

Their best song is "Ladies and Gentlemen" from their most recent album called "Blood Stained Love Story".
Here is a short sample of that song.
Ladies and gentlemen please
Would you bring your attention to me?
For a feast for your eyes to see
An explosion of catastrophe
Like nothing you've ever seen before
Watch closely as I open this door
Your jaws will be on the floor
After this you'll be begging for more
Welcome to the show
Please come inside
Ladies and gentlemen

Another band that has good music is Rev Theory. They are a new band that I think will be as popular as Alter Bridge or Shinedown.

Their newest album is called Light it up and it reached #73 on Billboard 200.

I like the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Ice Cube. Well I only like one song from Red Hot Chili Peppers called "Snow" from Stadium Arcadium.
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/e/e6/Stadiumarcadium.jpg
And Ice Cube well that's a whole different genre. This picture says it all
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/f/f2/Ice_Cube-The_Predator_%28album_cover%29.jpg
And these lyrics say a little more:
From "It was a good day"
Just waking up in the morning gotta thank God
I don't know but today seems kinda odd
No barking from the dogs, no smog
And momma cooked a breakfast with no hog
I got my grub on, but didn't pig out

2Pac is a legend in the hip-hop/rap industry. His music had such a big influence on current rappers and is remembered for sometimes being controversial.
http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g64/hiphopruckus/2pac.jpg
Tupac Amaru Shakur (June 16, 1971 — September 13, 1996), also known by his stage names 2Pac and Makaveli, was an American rapper. In addition to his status as a top-selling recording artist, Shakur was a successful film actor and a prominent social activist. He is recognized in the Guinness Book of World Records as the highest-selling rap artist, with over seventy five million albums sold worldwide, including over fifty million in the United States. Most of Shakur's songs are about growing up amid violence and hardship in ghettos, racism, problems in society and conflicts with other rappers. Shakur's work is known for advocating political, economic, social and racial equality, as well as his raw descriptions of violence, drug and alcohol abuse and conflicts with the law.
Shakur was initially a roadie and backup dancer for the alternative hip hop group Digital Underground. Shakur's debut album, 2Pacalypse Now, gained critical recognition and backlash for its controversial lyrics. Shakur became the target of lawsuits and experienced other legal problems. Later, he was shot five times and robbed in the lobby of a recording studio in New York City. Following the event, Shakur grew suspicious that other figures in the rap industry had prior knowledge of the incident and did not warn him; the controversy helped spark the East Coast-West Coast hip hop rivalry. After serving eleven months of his sentence for sexual abuse, Shakur was released from prison on an appeal financed by Marion "Suge" Knight, the CEO of Death Row Records. In exchange for Suge's assistance, Shakur agreed to release three albums under the Death Row label. Shakur's fifth album, the first double album release in hip hop history All Eyez on Me, was counted as two albums.
On September 7, 1996, Shakur was shot four times in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas, and died six days later of respiratory failure and cardiac arrest at the University Medical Center.
I have one of his most famous songs called "I don't give a _-_-_" from his album "2Pacalypse Now". The lyrics of this song are very explicit. But the song is a good one that reminds me of a different media.

I have four songs in computer from the band called Limp Bizkit. This songs are mainly metal with a mix of rock and nu metal.
Here are some lyrics for their song called "My Way"
Yeah
This time i'm 'a let it all come out
This time i'm 'a stand up and shout
I'm 'a do things my way
It's my way
My way, or the highway
Check out, check check... out my melody
Just one more fight
About a lot of things
And i will give up everything
To be on my own again
Free again

I don't buy music, I download it for FREE using Limewire (http://www.limewire.com). I used to have Morpheus (http://www.morpheus.com) but I uninstalled it after I didn't find any of the song I wanted. Why buy songs when you can download it for FREE.

'Cause we hunt you down without mercy
Hunt you down all nightmare long
Feel us breathe upon your face
Feel us shift, every move we trace
Hunt you down without mercy
Hunt you down all nightmare long
Luck. Runs.
You crawl back in
But your luck runs out

Here is a ending of this song:
You think you got it all locked up inside
And if you beat them enough they'll die
It's like a walk in the park from a cell
And now you're keeping your own kind in hell
When your great wall rocks blame yourself
While their arms reach up for your help
And you're out of time
I guess I don't fit in here... I listen only to classical music, you can never get enough of it:D

Yeah the song version I have it is censored in this line "And you moved me, and you soothed me", and you fought me. Where fought is not said. Originally I thought it was the curse word but later I download a song from limewire where it actually sound like "fought". But now I searched for the lyrics on the internet and found that in this website (http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/s/seether/sold_me.html) but in this website (http://www.seeklyrics.com/lyrics/Seether/Sold-Me.html) it says the lyrics are explicit. Now I am wondering if the Explicit version that is sold in Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Sold-Me-Explicit/dp/B0013TQJDY) is really the version with explcit lyrics...
