American Consumer Opinion (http://www.yourfreesurveys.com/links.php?id=8) panel, or ACOP, is definitely one of the Top Ten paid online survey companies. Like Pinecone Research they send you checks shortly after completing surveys and they are generally for $3 to $5 for a 20 to 30 minute survey. One aspect of ACOP that I do not like is that you are not able to check your total earnings on their website; otherwise, I am completely satisfied with this company and everyone should sign up with them. They also sport the Better Business Bureau logo on their website, which is a good thing to look for on any survey company website.

Welcome to American Consumer Opinion®, a worldwide network of people who get paid for sharing their opinions and ideas by answering online surveys. Win money in monthly drawings just for being a member. Win money in drawings when you fill out a screener (a short questionnaire). Get paid each time you complete a survey (a longer questionnaire).

Who We Are
American Consumer Opinion® is owned and operated by Decision Analyst, Inc (http://www.decisionanalyst.com/)., a major international marketing research firm headquartered in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in the United States. American Consumer Opinion® is made up of consumers worldwide who have agreed to participate in our paid opinion survey panel. Join today! (http://www.yourfreesurveys.com/links.php?id=8)

Membership Is Free
Membership in American Consumer Opinion® is free. You will never have to pay any money to be a member. Your participation in our surveys is the only "cost" of membership. As a panel member, you will participate in several surveys a year, typically. The average survey will take 10 minutes or so to complete, and the questions are usually easy to answer. Panel members can expect to receive a "screener" (a short questionnaire) every six weeks or so.

Make Money Taking Surveys
All registered members participate in a monthly drawing to win $250 in cash awards, just for being a member. If you answer a screener (a short questionnaire), you will be entered into a drawing for cash awards.* If you participate in a survey (a longer questionnaire), you will always receive some type of incentive (a free product to test, cash, a check, or a gift).

Incentives typically range in value from $4 to $50, per survey or focus group, depending upon the length of the questionnaire and the time it takes to complete it. Simply fill out surveys for money. Participants in online focus groups generally receive more than $25.

Your Voice Is Heard
Occasionally, these consumers are asked to participate in mail surveys or telephone surveys, but generally the surveys are all conducted over the Internet. Most members of American Consumer Opinion® enjoy having the opportunity to make their opinions count, to influence the future. It's similar to voting for elected officials-but here, you are voting on products and services you want in the future. We do hundreds of surveys a year to help companies do a better job. Your opinions really do make a difference.

Here are some examples of how American Consumer Opinion® online surveys have helped companies improve their products and/or services:

A passenger train system decided on new routes and learned how to improve service on its trains.

A Mexican salsa company figured out how much to adjust the "heat" level in its picante sauce to make it taste even better.

Guiltless Gourmet improved the taste of their wonderful snack chips.

A major airline identified the most comfortable types of seats for its airliners.

We Protect Your Privacy
To determine whether your household qualifies to participate in a particular survey, we need to know something about your household and its members. That's the purpose of the questions in the Registration Form. Your opinions, information, and advice are confidential. Your answers are combined with other panel members' answers and reported as statistical summaries. Your individual answers will never be revealed to anyone without your explicit permission. Your name and address will never be used for sales or advertising purposes, and your name will never be sold to anyone outside of our company. For more information on our Privacy Policy, go here (http://www.acop.com/PrivacyPolicy.aspx?L=1).

More About Your Membership
Several times a year you will receive short surveys about your household's usage of certain products and services. Please be sure to answer these surveys, because they help us select households for follow-up surveys. Always be completely honest and frank in answering these surveys. When you complete one of these surveys, your name will be entered into a drawing for cash awards. Membership is limited to one person per household. If more than one person per household fills out the Registration Form, we will only accept the first person who filled out a form.

Fun Surveys
We post "fun surveys" on our website from time to time, purely for the amusement of our members. It's fun to see how other people think and feel. If you have suggestions for "fun" questions, please email them to us.

They are #3 in my rankings for the month. My Earnings (http://www.yourfreesurveys.com/forum/showpost.php?p=13&postcount=3)

I like them. I usually get a couple surveys a month and they pay right away. They are a lot like Pinecone.

Last Friday I got a check for $6 from ACOP for a 15 minute health survey. I now have earned at least $40 from them.

Right now I'm taking a 15 minute $5 survey that I qualified for. It's about a local subject area. Completing this survey is taking longer than it's supposed to because I have six other windows open including three paid surveys. I will eventually finish it since ACOP allows its members to complete their surveys at later time.

I am very pleased with ACOP as I just received another check for $5 making my total $18 since February and placing them at a solid #12, and moving up fast, on my list of Surveys That Pay! (http://www.yourfreesurveys.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1&postcount=1)

I like them because I have qualified for more than five of their paid surveys. One was a two part survey that paid $25.

Here is some important information that every ACOP member should read:

WARNING!
Mystery Shopper Scam

A fraudulent Canadian company is using the American Consumer Opinion® name to mail counterfeit checks for thousands of dollars, instructing you to deposit the check and then wire part of the money back to them. The company falsely claims the money you wire will go towards your training to become a mystery shopper. This is a criminal and illegal scam. Do not attempt to cash or deposit the check. Do not wire any money to anyone. Membership in American Consumer Opinion® is always free.

Thank you.

Anne Parks,
Vice President of American Consumer Opinion®

Today I received a $4 check from ACO from taking a survey about consumer electronics. I took the survey on 6/24 so that means it took less than the four weeks they said it would take. That's a good thing!!

I like ACOP. They don't send enough surveys though. I don't even know how to login and check my account balance . They send checks automatically, I got once for $7 and another for $5. I wish they'd send more surveys.

There is no way to check your balance or payment history with ACOP. I emailed and asked about that specifically. You take the survey, they send you a check for $3 to $10 and you get about one or two surveys per month.

It's true that you don't have an account with ACO that allows you to see all the surveys you took with them, but can log in here (https://www.acop.com/Login.aspx?L=1) to update your profile with personal information. That's all they offer for now, but I got a feeling that will eventually change.

I have taken a few surveys from ACOP. I've qualified and never seen a penny from them.

I am usually a bit leery of companies that don't allow you to view your earnings or payment history.

Yup, they do send only 1 or 2 surveys a month. I think i did only 2 surveys from them till now, i did get checks for them both.

Be more patient! They only send out one or two per month and it depends on your specific demographic as to when and how often you receive them.

I get 2-3/month and have a 25% completion rate. The checks for the lucky 25 percent arrived w/in a week. I'm getting paranoid:I got 2 surveys in the past 7 days and I completed both. I feel like a basketball player with a "hot hand." This streak is gonna end soon!

ACOP is great but is there anyone who thinks they send out enough surveys? I always hear ACOP mentioned in the same breath with Pinecone Research as 'one of the best', but I have them ranked at #19 with only $18 earned over the past six months. Is anyone else doing any better than this with them? Do they ever offer Invoke Interactives or product trials?

I've made $0 with them. I never qualify for their few surveys. I hate them

I completed the same two part survey about Diet and Nutrition earlier this survey. It was a really LONG survey but it worth the $25 but an 75 minute interactive session is better because it would take less time to finish and pays the same...

Here is another sweepstakes that I bet I don't win:

Dear Lee:

Thanks for agreeing to complete this brief screening questionnaire. Just by responding you enter yourself into the monthly sweepstakes of $10,000. Winners of this drawing will receive a check in the mail within four weeks.

http://i34.tinypic.com/10hpmvc.jpg

Based on your answers, we have a few more screening questions for you. Because it could take up to 10 minutes, for completing this extended screener the panel member's name will been entered in an additional drawing for $1000 (in U.S. dollars) in cash prizes. Winners will receive a check in the mail within four weeks.

Dear Lee,

Starting in mid-December, when you complete a survey from American Consumer Opinion, your incentive check will be deposited in your account (instead of being automatically mailed to you). This will allow you to accumulate incentives in your account, and then request a payment check whenever you wish.

In the past if you completed a regular survey (10 minutes or more in length) you were mailed a check within four weeks after completing the survey. Now, in the new system (not available until mid-December), a few days after you complete a survey, your account will be credited for the full amount of your incentive. This will allow you to accumulate money and receive a larger check, instead of the inconvenience of depositing many small checks. You will be able to withdraw your money at any time once it's credited to your account. You can withdraw your money often, or let it build up as a savings account.

So, the next time you complete a survey (10 minutes or longer) and you are ready to withdraw money from your account, please go to American Consumer Opinion (www.acop.com) and click the Login link located under the Members section. Log in with the email address and password that you used to register as a member. If you cannot remember your password information, you can request the information be emailed to you from the web site.

Thanks again for being a member of American Consumer Opinion. Please invite your friends to join. We wish you a happy holiday season and a wonderful new year!

Thanks!

13. ACOP $81.00 ($4 po) (2008-03-01) ($81.00 rec’d)

American Consumer Opinion panel, or ACOP, is definitely one of the Top 20 paid online survey companies. They send between one and three surveys per month at most and they are generally for $4 (up to $50 for an interactive survey) for a 10 to 20 minute survey. You are now able to check your total earnings on their website and redeem your earnings as soon as $4 has been accumulated. Their checks always arrive promptly within four weeks. They also sport the Better Business Bureau logo on their website, which is a good thing to look for on any survey company website. Any problems can be quickly resolved with an email to: aparks@acop.com As noted frequently in reviews above, the primary complaint is that ACOP simply does not send out enough surveys, but the ones they do send are short, easy to complete and adequately compensated.
