So far so good. I think I’m going to like Testspin (http://www.testspin.com/testerProfile). Now, as with everything else, there are those out in “survey world” who disagree. But my experience so far has been positive.
First I googled it, and read lots of reviews. I’ll have to say they were all over the map. Either people were putting it at the top of their list and loved it, or were slamming it. Most of the negative comments about it I found on Survey Police where people complained of getting error messages during surveys, or being disqualified after taking a survey for 20 minutes. Yup, those things would tick me off in a big way, but that hasn’t been my experience so far.
And I’m not all that fond of gift cards, so when I first joined and they said that the only reward was a $10 gift card to Amazon, I was a little less than thrilled. But soon, very soon, they will be offering payment by check or Paypal which makes me oh so happy. I also like the fact that you can go to the website and see what the available surveys or ‘testspins” are.
One word of caution though. I think that they take their rules and regulations very seriously. I had read a few complaints about non payment in certain cases and I think these were probably due to breaking their rules below:
“Sometimes it takes more than 30 days to be credited, so please be patient. If you still aren’t credited it is more than likely due to the following reasons that were listed in the Terms of Agreement you “agreed” to when registering with TestSpin:
Registering with TestSpin by giving us false or misleading information
Changing your profile and giving false or misleading information
Creating multipleTestSpin accounts
Taking the same survey more than once
Taking a survey, not qualifying, then taking the same survey again with knowledge of how to get through the qualifying process
Telling another member how to get through the survey qualifying process
Intentionally giving faulty responses on a survey
Completing a survey so quickly that you would not have been physically able to read the questions
Posting our links to surveys anywhere on the Internet
Registering if you are under the age of 13 years old
If we request a specific Tester profile in our email invite and you do not fit that profile, but attempt to take the survey anyway
Registering or changing user profile with usernames or email addresses that TestSpin deems indecent
Unable to answer profile verification questions “
I think Testspin is worth a shot. I’ve not had any problems yet, so I think if you follow the rules and visit the site regularly, you’ll be pleased with the results.

I joined their site by email invite meaning I did not create my account via their home page. When I first joined Test Spin, I received one survey invite every three weeks. But after I logged in to my accoun for the first time, I quickly started receiving more survey. They would frequently get two or more survey a day. Today I took a 10 minute Restaurant survey about new products. Test Spin emails are quickly filling my inbox. Thats a good Thing!!!

I just recently joined TestSpin too and so far have received a couple of surveys for $2.00 each for which i both qualified. I think this might be one of the better survey sites out there and so far have very positive vibes about it and i'm glad i joined.

Today I took attempted to qualify for Test Spin survey, but I was screened out before I could even answer any questions. I did get the usual message plus a long message why I didn't qualify. Here is that message in its entirely:
Thank you for your time, however you did NOT qualify for this survey and are not eligible for an award.
Q: WHY DON'T I QUALIFY?
First, we understand how frustrating it is to go to a survey and not qualify. TestSpin only gets paid if you complete the survey,
so we are rooting for you to finish any survey we invite you to.
A: Being qualified (or disqualified) in a survey could be as simple as you turning from 24 years old to 25
years old today... meaning that if we are looking for 24 year olds for the survey, but you turn 25 today (and enter 25 in the
survey) you would not qualify. Another way of disqualifying is if you recently moved and did not change your zip code in your
profile and we invited you to take a survey based on your 'old' zip code. If you entered your new zip code area you would disqualify,
because the client would have been targeting your old zip code area. The best way to keep from disqualifying is to keep your
profile updated (click on Edit My Account Information, after you login to your account).
Here is a brief explanation:
We try not to ask too many questions when users are registering, so the process doesn't take too long... but as a result we only
have the info we requested when registering. That means sometimes we have to ask members to a survey who may or may not qualify,
but only in cases where we were unable to collect targeted information during member registration. For instance, if we needed
people who use premium gasoline in their car, and we don't have that information in your profile, we will ask all of our members
to this survey to see who qualifies. We try not to do this often, because if only 10% of our members qualify (use premium gas),
then the other 90% who responded and did not qualify are now unhappy that they wasted their time. We are committed to sending our
members as many surveys as we possibly can... but we always run the risk of making people upset because they may disqualify.
Another example of disqualifying is that if the client wants 100 people in each of the 50 U.S. States to fill out their survey,
we may send out to 500 people in each State to make sure that 100 people in each State respond. The few who respond late - after
we've reached 100 won't qualify as that 'state quota' will have been filled when they get there. We at TestSpin hope everyone
qualifies... our revenue is based solely on those who complete a survey (on a price per complete basis). We want you to finish
every survey we send you, but the possibility of disqualifying is part of the process.
Surveys are getting more and more 'targeted' to the specific needs of our clients, so we find that more and more people are
disqualifying. We are going to start to do something about this. TestSpin is going to begin asking more questions of our members
upfront (you will see this in the coming months), to get the target needs of our clients. We walk a fine-line between asking too
many questions and becoming intrusive and people becoming unhappy because we send them an invitation to a survey that they may
not qualify for... so please bear with us.
We hope this information was helpful. Kindly keep your profile updated and please check out our FAQs (http://www.testspin.com/infoHome/type/faq_visitor/) for more info.

Originally, I rated Testspin as fair. I like them alot because I get a lot of survey invites from them ranging from $1-3. But more than half the time, I never qualify for their surveys. I still try to do them whenever I can. I haven't check my account balance in awhile but the last time I checked I wasn't at the payput threshold. I checked today and surprisly I have a $17 balance. I want to cash out but they have not yet added a paypal option. They are like survey spot, there is a waiting period before your account is credited.

I'm not feeling the love from TestSpin either, although a fair number of people on other survey forums seem to like them. Apparently, I am a member but cannot access my account for some odd reason. I have also never received a survey from them. I tried to recover my sign-in information and password and nothing was ever sent so I tried to sign up with them again using another email account and still nothing. Without a PayPal option I am less than enthusiastic about getting any more involved with them. I can't give them a positive rating yet until I am able to access my account or hear back from them. Waiting periods are pointless and lame in my opinion. Are you listening Greenfield, InboxDollars and SendEarnings?

Today I clicked on a email link to take a $2 Restaurant survey, but I received a white screen with this message "We are sorry, but our client is experiencing technical difficulties with their survey. Please try again later."
Below that, there was a longer message about technical errors:
IMPORTANT NOTICE: It has come to our attention that many of our members have been experiencing an increased amount of technical errors and bugs in our clients' surveys (such as when you click on the link it does not allow you to take that survey). TestSpin does NOT do any programming or hosting of any of these surveys; we merely invite our members to participate in third-party market research studies. We have absolutely no control over questionnaire content, hosting or technical usability. We do have a full-time staff that thoroughly checks each and every survey we send you, but regretfully most of these errors occur after we send invites as people start taking our clients' surveys and their server traffic increases. Panel companies (such as TestSpin) only get paid if you finish a survey, so these technical errors are hurting the entire industry. We would like to extend our sincerest apologies if you've experienced trouble lately and we are dedicating all possible resources to rectify these issues and send only the best possible surveys to our members.

Somehow i never seem to qualify for an testspin survey. Actually i cannot even remember the last time i completed a survey from testspin. Every survey i attempt, no matter how hard i try, i end up by being disqualified.
It's so irritating, since this is the only site i have that problem with. I am really good at qualifying for surveys, but no such luck with testspin :o

I joined Testspin a few days ago and have received four survey invites so far. I wasn't able to access one and sent an email to support@testspin.com. I received a reply less than three hours later.
If you're trying to send email to the email address that the survey invites come from, that could be your problem:

That is the first time I have ever seen that message and of course this should have not happend because I am still located in the good old US. But it's not a big deal since I would have been disqualified for the survey anyway.
