I promise, I went into this one with an open mind. After all, Lee had listed it in as a site that he had joined and made $15 from (in his comment on the Top 12 List). So….I decided that it should be safe enough for me to go ahead and join.

The first problem I had was that they required a phone number. I don’t give that out to anybody. I can control my survey email, but I don’t want my phone number “out there”. I made one up and I haven’t gotten a confirmation email yet, so I guess they checked it!

They did let me finish with the registration process, and I’m not kidding, it took 35 minutes to get through it. The first page had 30 separate offers to check yes or no…I clicked no for each. Submit. Another page of 30. I clicked no. Submit. The next page was a confirmation for an offer that I said no to. I had to remove my information from it. Clicked next. I got 2 more confirmation offers for things I had checked no on. I’m really annoyed now. 3 more pages of 30 offers later that keep popping back up because I checked no. I closed it, never to return. Waaay too much trouble.

And here’s the real issue. Last week I got a copy of Better Homes and Gardens in the mail. I didn’t order it. It was addressed to my “survey name” which I used when I joined an offer site, thanking me for my subscription order, with a bill for $18 enclosed. I can assure you that I never clicked on anything to get a magazine, as I am very careful. I’m still trying to figure out which offer site ordered it for me. But I called the magazine and cancelled, they were very understanding. Be careful.

I was just terminated from Cash4Offers (info@paid-to-read-email.com) due to completing the same offer twice. I lost my $15 in rewards.

Here is what they said: "Your account is cancelled due to multiple completion of the same offer (Amp Surveys)."

My reply: "How is that even possible? Isn’t this Cash4Offers? I don’t keep track of which offers I complete for different surveys or trial offer companies. Please send me the $15 for the completed offers."

It should be noted that, as of April 28, they have changed their minimum payout point from $50 to $25; however, I strongly advise against joining this Get Paid to Try (GPT) site.

They have yet to reply to my last email and I doubt they will.

Another good point to remember is that GPTs are more likely to send you spam and sell your information to third parties.

I am a member of Cash4offers also, however I find this site not as bad as everyone else says. It did not take me 30 minutes to get through the sign up, more like 10. And also, I get credited in less than a business day for most offers, and reading emails gives you 5 cents per. It's not a bad site. So far, nothing has yet to anger me with this site. It's like any other. The best thing for anyone to do is just try it.
