All I can say about Datatelligence Online (> http://www.yourfreesurveys.com/links.php?id=43) is that it’s not for me. The points system is so much more complicated than it needs to be. It makes Ipsos-i-Say look easy. I have searched every page, every nook and cranny, and can’t seem to find anywhere that can tell me what the value of the points are. I know that I have 80 points, but I have no idea whether it is worth 8 cents or 8 dollars. They have a Reward Zone that you are technically not supposed to enter until you have acquired 1000 points, but you can browse as a guest until then. It’s a lot like going to a mall, and I HATE to shop. I did find that you can get a $5 gift certificate to Fish.com with 300 points and a $10 gift certificate to Ferret.com with 1100 points. I’m not kidding, really I’m not! To be fair, there are about 20 categories of rewards with hundred in each category, so I’m sure that finding something you want isn’t a problem. I picked those 2 because I thought they were funny. All in all, I prefer to spend my time with the less complicated survey sites like Esearch, Opinion Outpost and Survey Savvy to name a few.
I joined about 6 weeks ago, and was paid 40 points for taking the registration profile and 40 points for the advanced profile. They were both short and easy to complete. I haven’t gotten another survey since I joined so I’d have to say for me they are few and far between. I did do a little research on the Internet, and found that this experience wasn’t limited to me. There were quite a few complaints about the frequency of the surveys and also some issues with payment delays.
I’ll keep you posted as I get more surveys from them and update you with that information. And please, if any of you have any input or experience with Datatellignce Online (> http://www.yourfreesurveys.com/links.php?id=43) let us know. The more opinions that you have the better able you are to make intelligent choices about how and where to spend your valuable time taking surveys

I have been a member of this panel since last year. So far this panel gets a failing grade from me. They do not send enough surveys, not even two a month. It's more like one every two months or so. Today I checked my account and I have 80 points in there. I got 40 points for "Registration Completed" back on November 21, 2007 and 40 points for Joining the 'Advanced Profile' panel. I DO NOT recommend this panel for anyone. But I wonder if anyone has a positive experience with them.

I got an email from Datatelligence Online that had the date of 6/17. So what that means is today I received an email that was sent to me yesterday. This is not the first time that this has happens to me.
The survey was for $15 dollars!!! But I was disqualified.

Yesterday I qualified for a $15 survey from them and I was about half way though the website when my browser closed on me. So today I attempted to access the survey and I was surprised when I was allowed to continue were I left off. This is VERY VERY GOOD. I like survey sites that allow their members to access a survey at a later time. Maybe Datatelligence is not that bad.

I am having a little trouble with both links in Posts #1 & #3 above for Datatelligence (http://www.datatelligence.net/), so naturally I decided to do a little digging on my own. From my own experience I have been a member of this site since June 11, 2008 and have yet to receive a paid survey. It would appear to be a sweepstakes company in addition to being a paid survey site that offers points from merchandise.

you should give it a little more time. Datatelligence is NOT The best survey panel out there and yet it's not the worst. If Datatelleigence does not meet your expectations then you should unsubscribe but if you don't care how many survey panels your a member of then you should hope to get more surveys from them.
I recommend Pinecone Research. I have a link for anyone who wants to join. If thats you tell send me a private message.

Many of these smaller minor survey companies do not send out emails every month. Some seem to never send any out. All you can do is: 1) wait patiently, 2) email their support site or 3) unsubscribe; but, why unsubscribe when one day you may get a $15 survey like Eddie did? We do not have the answers to many of your questions nupur and your posts often are very brief, ask the exact same questions for every company and do not add to our members' knowledge, as I explained in my private message to you. Please try to find the answers on your own and think carefully before posting. Thanks!

Well Lee it's good to see you qualified for one of their paid surveys. Ten Dollars is not bad at all. How long was the survey?
Also you should always delete links to your personal surveys or profiles not just to "keep Eddy happy" but to protect your personal information.

I agree, Dataelligence survey somewhat short but some me they take longer than 30 minutes to complete since most of the time I have multiple windows opened. Yesterday, I received a survey that paid a $10 check but I did not qualify for this survey because I entered the wrong age.

But what if you got paid more? From what I've read, some survey companies would pay more to expand their text-based panels.
Datatellingence is a quality panel. I just earned $15 for a 30 min survey with them and turned down a lucrative offline focus group opportunity because it wasn't conveniently located in the DC area.

What statement means that I submitted an age demographic they were not looking for, but my age is the wrong age to enter if you were to qualify for that survey. I can understand why someone would be confused my the wording of that statement

Me? I limit my cell usage and use a prepaid phone. It keeps our monthly costs down - and disqualifies me from a lot of surveys.:( Texting on my phone would be expensive.

I did get that email from data intelligence, and i clicked yes. I don't usually give my real no to anyone, i use my evoice no to receive voicemail. But i just wanted to see, how it would work, and also how much they pay, and how much it would cost me.
If the cost is too much, i can call and cancel. I will post after i get an opportunity, regarding the payment and the cost.

It really surprises me that you folks have had a difficult time with Datatellingnce. I have an unbelievably difficult time qualifying for surveys- If I'm lucky I'll qualify for one in about 50 tries. Oddly enough, I've only received one survey invitation from Datatelligence, I qualified and it took maybe 5 minutes to complete the survey. A couple of weeks later (after the study was closed) I received a $15 Amazon gift certificate. It was the easiest 15 bucks I've ever made!
Haven't received anything from them since, but I sure hope to!

Want to increase your survey invitations? Please read and participate in our poll.
Dear Member,
As you may or may not be aware, there is a growing concern from manufactures and advertisers alike about the quality of research obtained from online panel communities. These companies conduct a large part of their consumer research with various internet survey companies. The quality of research is being challenged for very real reasons.
We at Datatelligence Online want each member to know that our belief is, “you get what you pay for”. Because of this, we have recently begun offering more and more opportunities to show our appreciation for thoughtful responses to our surveys with the use of cash, in the form of checks mailed to your home, or online gift cards for your participation in certain surveys. We can see that our member’s responses are far more thoughtful when you are fairly compensated for your valuable time and opinions. Datatelligence Online takes every opportunity to make the case to our clients that fairness to the consumer will be rewarded with more thoughtful responses to their survey questions. In an increasingly competitive world, it is difficult to make all clients see the value in this when
nearly all other internet survey companies see fair compensation to its members as increased overhead and completely unnecessary for good research.
We wish we could offer these gifts on all of the surveys you complete, but the reality is it is financially impossible given that fewer and fewer online survey companies attempt to reward fairly for the consumers valuable time and insights you provide when you complete surveys correctly. When these other, and often much larger internet survey companies refuse to compensate fairly, it places us, Datatelligence Online, and other fair minded internet survey companies at a considerable competitive disadvantage. Because many internet survey companies only offer drawings as rewards for nearly all of their surveys, they can, not only make large sums of money for themselves and their shareholders, but also offer a lower cost to their clients.
Keep in mind that drawings with these very large internet survey companies nearly always have tens of thousands of entries each month vying for the same paltry prizes. Most often, everyone who has completed a survey in the past month, very often in the past three months, is included in these monthly or quarterly drawings. Think about it, these companies complete many tens of thousands of interviews each month and collectively they are offering to pay out a few thousand dollars in prizes. In essence, they feel your time is worth a few pennies an hour. Meanwhile, they are making millions off your opinions. Nearly all of these panel companies are publicly traded corporations and their financial details are available on their corporate websites, which you should visit.
We understand that under these circumstances anyone could find valid personal reasons to hurry through a survey, or not give an answer proper thought when the survey is 20, 30 even 45 minutes and sometimes even longer for the opportunity to join thousands of others in a drawing. We at Datatelligence Online want to always be fair and as many members experience, we are. However, it is difficult to compete with those that feel there members will spend hours each month for pennies. How do you know if you are being treated fairly? Well, only you can answer that question, but it might be fair to think that if you are asked to share 25 or more minutes of your time and thoughts, it might be worth something more tangible than a drawing with tens of thousands of others.
What can you do if you are conducting a survey for another internet survey company and feel you are being under appreciated? Well, certainly you can simply refuse to do the survey altogether, who could blame you. Or you could complete just enough of that survey to have a good idea of who the end sponsor is and contact them via their website with your thoughts. Ultimately, you can be sure that the End User of the research, being the manufacture or service provider, does indeed value you, the consumer, and they will listen to your thoughts.
We ask you to speak up! And when you do, please remind them that at least one Internet Survey Company, Datatelligence Online, believes that good research is a reward to fairness and respect for ones time. Thank you for your ongoing support!
Those who complete this short questionnaire (about 5 questions), will receive a drawing entry into the current month’s Sweepstakes. Winners are posted on our Winner’s page.
We would love to find out your opinion!
My comments at the end of the short five question poll:
I think Datatelligence has the potential to be one of the more solid survey companies even if they cannot match the amounts of compensation that SurveySpot and OpinonOutpost give in terms of sheer numbers of emails, they can emulate the examples of Pinecone Research and the American Consumer Opinion panel by offering reasonable compensation ($3-$5) for one or more 20-30 minute surveys per month, which would be fine by me.

Read an important article about Panels - Voice your opinion to make a difference
Dear Member,
As you may or may not be aware, there is a growing concern from manufactures and advertisers alike about the quality of research obtained from online panel communities. These companies conduct a large part of their consumer research with various internet survey companies. The quality of research is being challenged for very real reasons.
I also received the survey above and I read about two paragraphs of that then I clicked on the link.
Here is what I told them about their panel:
That email article was really informative and it kinda reminded me of an article I read about professional survey takers. Of course I'm not one of those people because for me taking surveys is not a job but only a hobby that makes me interested in market research. When I visit joined Datatelligence last year, I was really disappointed by the lack of surveys I got. I got only two survey invites in the first month of being a member and only one email offered DataPoints. The next year I noticed more surveys with a fair incentive. I qualified and completed one of those surveys and that convinced me to stay with this panel. One thing I would like to improved is more rewards using the DataPoints systems.
