I’m going to talk about E-Poll (http://www.yourfreesurveys.com/links.php?id=24) today. I joined a couple of months ago and I’m going to give it my “shrug” rating (you’ll have to get a visual of me lifting my shoulders here). It’s a good site in a lot of ways, it’s just not one of my favorite ones. The surveys they send are easy to take, mostly about media and entertainment. I got about one a week in the beginning, and now I’m getting about 2. I love the surveys and the site layout, and they do send you your “payment” in a timely manner when you’ve earned enough points to cash out.
The drawback for me is that it takes a long time to get to the point of cash out. At E-Poll, generally earn 500 to 3000 points per survey completed. You are sent to the Rewards store where you can add your points to any number of charities (if you wish) or gift cards at various stores: Amazon, Home Depot, etc. It takes 3500 points for a $5 gift card, 6750 for a $10 card, on up to 17,250 for a $30 one.

I checked my E-Poll account and I was surprised by what I saw. I have 7550 points in my account. Yesterday I completed an easy "celebrities and newsmakers" survey that was for 500 points. I will wait until I earn more points before I redeem a prize.

5500 points here since February. I will probably get an Amazon gift card and unsubscribe. The more often I go to Amazon, the more likely I am to buy something else that I can't afford. Same thing applies with gift cards to Olive garden and Red Lobster, which would be my second choice. Lots of people love gift cards though, so this is a good legitimate site for people that like gift cards. A little more about E-Poll:

Hello all,
Does anyone of you know, if they send their Amazon gift cards directly per e-mail or do you have to wait six weeks to receive a paper gift card with the gift code by snail-mail (like some companies do )?

In December of last year, I got a Media Safe CD. It was a episode of a TV show. The show was Mad Men and I think it's on AMC. The show was really boring. It was about a tobacco company and I don’t never anything else. I was asked if I remember looking a soda brand buring the show. I think I got 2000 points. Getting to watch a show or movie for a survey is really cool but next time I hope the show is better than this one.

The Amazon gift cards are usually sent via your email and contain a promotional code that you enter when you make a purchase online at Amazon.com.

Yes, epoll is an OK site, the surveys are also easy to complete. I just redeemed my points a few days back. I donated it to charity, since i do not take gift cards. I only like to withdraw if it pays in cash. ;)

Yesterday I completed a 1000 point E-poll survey about a show called The Cleaner. I was supposed to watch this on A&e on Tuesday at 9 pm, but I did not watch all of it because I was enjoing another one of my favorite shows. I watched enough of The Cleaner to form an opinion about. Well I did not like this show because it was about a guy who helps crack addicts with their addition. I think the show is boring and did not impress me. Anyway they only good thing at came out of this was the 1000 points.

I wish they would just send an Amazon code. It takes forever just to earn a $5.00 Amazon GC, and then they add insult to injury by taking 8 weeks to send a physical card.

20. Epoll $60.00 (3500 = $5) (PayPal) (2008-02-19) ($60 rec'd)
E-Poll is a solid Top 20 survey site that is great for people that watch a lot of TV and movies. The frequency of suveys runs hot and cold, but you should be able to cash out every 2-3 months for $5-10 sent via PayPal. They also offer gift certificates to Amazon.com, Best Buy, Home Depot, McDonalds, Target, Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks, Olive Garden, Red Lobster and several other great prizes. Customer service is excellent, but I have not had any problems that have required me to contact them yet. I think everyone needs to be a member of this survey site.

E-Poll is another very good points site that has earned me $50 since February 19, 2008 and which currently ranks 18th out of my top 25 survey sites. I have completed 54 surveys over the past 18 months primarily on television, movies and current affairs with incentives ranging from 100 points ($0.14) to 1000 ($1.40). Most surveys are between 10 and 30 minutes and pay 500 points ($0.70). The surveys are usually quite easy to complete, but somewhat lengthy and repetitive. They are about your knowledge and impressions of brands and celebrities from television, movies and sports. E-Poll allows only one member per household to sign up with them because it is required that each member live at a unique residence.
The minimum cash out threshold is 3500 points ($5), which is easily obtainable in spite of E-Poll only sending one or two surveys per month. I have cashed out six times for $50 over the past 18 months, which makes them an average earner for me. As of February 2009, they pay incentives via PayPal, but you may also choose gift certificates from Amazon.com, Best Buy, Blockbuster, Dunkin Donuts, Home Depot, iTunes, McDonalds, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Starbucks, Target and several other sites. You can also choose to donate your rewards to various charities such as American Red Cross, Humane Society, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, National Wildlife Federation or St. Jude Children’s Hospital. All rewards, including those delivered electronically, are typically sent within 6-8 weeks. E-Poll points never expire as long as you complete at least one survey every 12 months and your account is in good standing.
E-Poll, like most other legitimate survey sites, has a very strict privacy policy and will not sell, distribute or make available in any form personally identifiable information (i.e. name, address, phone, or email) of any member or guest of the site without their expressed permission (opt-in) as outlined in their privacy policy. In the event of technical or other problems you can contact E-Poll via their Contact Us page on the main website or directly via email: feedback-epoll@epoll.com . The Epoll Help Center and FAQs can be found here: http://www.epollsurveys.com/epoll/clients/faq/faq.htm.
