I have just decided to unsubscribe from Polling Point (http://www.pollingpoint.com/) because they are really just a points-for-prizes company and the prizes are not very enticing and take forever to collect enough points to win. I have a total of 6500 points after five months and the surveys arrive bi-weekly. At that rate it would take one year to get a silly tote bag and nearly seven years to earn $100. It's not worth it. Here are the surveys I have completed so far:
Date Activity Points
06/11/2008 PollingPoint Poll 500
05/20/2008 PollingPoint - Today's News & Shopping Poll 500
05/06/2008 PollingPoint Poll 500
04/28/2008 PollingPoint - Today's News & Shopping Poll 500
04/18/2008 PollingPoint Poll 500
04/08/2008 PollingPoint Poll 500
03/25/2008 PollingPoint - Today's News & Shopping Poll 500
03/05/2008 PollingPoint - Today's News & Shopping Poll 500
02/13/2008 PollingPoint - Today's News & Shopping Poll 500
02/05/2008 PollingPoint - First Survey Bonus 2,000
Total points: 6500

I have been a member of Polling Points since I joined in the middle of May. I currently have 5500 points since then. I think I'm having better luck with them because they send me two surveys per week.

It will take a long time to reach the 100,000 points to cash out but it's NOT impossible. It will probably take one or more years to reach that but I am very patient person so I don't mind the long wait.
Reward TV is good example of how patient I am. I have been a member of Reward TV since 2006 and I almost have 6,500,000 points with them. If I can wait that long on Reward TV then Polling Point will be a walk in the park.

I'll try to stay with them until I cash out... and I'm aware is going to take several years!!!

Does anyone know if the surveys/polls that are in the Polling Point website are paid with points like the ones send in email invitations?
If they are, that would make our cashout less than 5 years :D

I signed up with Polling Point about 3 weeks ago and just completed a 5,000 point follow-up survey and politics. I now have 8,500 points. I know it will take a while to get to the $100 cash level but to me it's still worth hanging around as a member of this survey site.

I've noticed an influx of surveys lately from Polling Point. I've taken 4 surveys over the last day or so from them at 500 points each. I know it takes FOREVER to save up enough points for a decent prize but i hope they keep sending more and more surveys to me. It's worth it to stay active with this survey site because their surveys are fun to do and are always short and sweet.

I dropped them. As you stated the prizes are out of reach. When I would check my points I felt like I was going backwards. I did like the corporate opinions, those buttons were cool.

Polling Point is not for me. I grabbed the tote bag with Polling Point emblazoned on the side and dropped this site. The other prizes are very flimsy and cheap looking. You will never accumulate enough points for the iPod.

I think you might be right Lee....i think i'll never accumulate enough points for the iPod not to mention the $100. I think i'll stick with this panel for right now though because 4 surveys in less than 1 day isn't too shabby. I'll let you know if they keep it up....

Good luck Damo. I am actually eliminating under-performing survey sites from my original 40 or so sites and Polling Point did not make the cut. Eventually, I anticipate only having time for about 25 or so great sites that I can complete in less than three to four hours per day at the computer. I go bonkers after four hours and no longer take surveys after dinner since I met my new girlfriend. I work from noon until about 5pm with lots of short breaks to keep me from going batty.

Not received a survey from them in a couple of weeks now Lee.....looks like Polling Point isn't going to make the cut for me either....it's a shame because i really enjoy completing their surveys....
