I like Surveys.com (http://www.yourfreesurveys.com/links.php?id=18)because it’s innovative. It’s an online community operated by GfK, a top-ten market research company, uniting some of the most renowned US and European research firms into one organization. Sign up is quick and easy and will take you less than 5 minutes to join.
One of the best features of Surveys.com is Promptcast which allows you to see products and services (e.g. pharmaceutical products, technologies, financial services, automobiles, and everyday grocery store items) before the rest of the world. When you install this software, you will be able to participate in surveys that incorporate high quality video, including viewing never before seen movie trailers. It’s easy to install, and it’s safe. Those of you who read my reviews regularly know that I am very careful about what I let onto my computer. This is not spyware or adware like another survey site installs on your computer. Promptcast only allows access to the high definition video on your commuter. It also allows a notification that you have a survey waiting at the lower right hand corner of your computer. You can accept or decline immediately. It really is a great new way for interaction!
I’ve gotten about 3 survey invitations a month. Don’t be discouraged by this. As I’ve said before, the best surveys sites focus on quality over quanity. Cash rewards are given for every survey that you take through Paypal, which is the safest and most effective way to transfer funds on the Internet. I have made the most amount of money by just taking one survey. Yeah they survey took about a week long to complete but I received $50 even though I submitted the follow up survey after the deadline expired. And I also got $5 for taking a survey that I don't remember. So surveys.com in on my top #10 list of my most profitable survey panels.

Surveys.com aka GfK is a survey site that requires patience. They sometimes send their panel members paid online surveys. Yesterday I finished a $3 survey about computers that took 20 minutes.
I had luck when I qualify for the $50 survey about news media in January. You need luck and patience to get and qualify for high paying surveys like the $50 survey I took from GfK. And I guess it won’t hurt when you KNOW what a survey company is looking for.

I found this important message on GfK Custom Research North America website:
Consumer Warning
Beware of Ads and/or letters offering Quick Returns for Cashing a Check
GfK rarely, if ever, conducts mystery shops involving check cashing or money transfers. We never ask shoppers to send us money. If someone posing as a representative of GfK ever contacts you with a cashier’s check, or if you see an ad promising quick returns for cashing a check, please call GfK Mystery Shopping immediately at 212-240-5471 before trying to cash the check…it may be a scam!
GfK is working with the MSPA (Mystery Shopper Providers Association) as well as the appropriate local, state and Federal authorities to crack down on all individuals involved in perpetrating these schemes.
For more information about these scams, including how to protect yourself and the steps to take if you’ve been victimized, please follow this link (http://www.mysteryshop.org/news/article_pr.php?art_ID=73).

How to Whitelist 'chenderson@surveys.com' in your Spam Filter
Feel like you've missed a survey? Perhaps your spam filter is preventing you from receiving surveys and other important communications from Surveys.com. If your Internet Service Provider uses a mail filter, please ensure you add the e-mail address 'chenderson@surveys.com' to your list of accepted e-mails and your address book/contact list. Surveys.com uses PayPal for certain survey incentives. Note that the e-mail address where you receive your survey invitations is the same one we use for PayPal. Surveys must be completed in their entirety in order to be entered into our monthly sweepstakes or to receive any additional incentive offered. Incentive payments are made to all panelists that qualify and complete an eligible survey. We credit all accounts on a monthly schedule. Look for your incentives to arrive during the first half of the month following the close of the survey.
Without details on what survey you were taking and the specifics of what your issue is, it takes much longer to investigate, respond and get back to you with a resolution. I believe Surveys.com (http://www.surveys.com/default.aspx) is strictly a sweepstakes site, but I may be wrong. PromptCast is software installed on your computer that alerts you to surveys. I don't recommend either software or the survey site until i learn otherwise.
I disagree, I have earned $55 from Surveys.com aka GfK NOP by taking two online surveys. The first survey was a week long survey where I was to record all the news I watch, read or listen. I earned $50 by taking this unique survey. I also earned $5 by taking a survey that I don't even remember taking. Both rewards were sent to my Pay Pal account two months after I completed the survey. So as you can see, people can make money from Surveys.com but don't expect to make $116 in less than three months with them (that's what I made with Survey Spot).
I totally agree about the program called PromptCast. I first installed that program on early January and so far I have NEVER received a survey using that technology. So the bottom line is Sign up to Surveys.com and cross your fingers to get a paid survey but do not install PromptCast unless you don't mind having a program that you will NEVER use.

I was also surprised when I received the $5 and $50 payments. For the $5, I did not remember taking a paid survey with them so I was like "where did this came from". It's a whole different story for the $50. I was supposed to finish the online version of that research study by a certain deadline. Unfortunately, I did not submit the survey by the deadline, but I finished it about three or four days after the deadline. So I was surprised when I got $50 in my inbox. I guess I was lucky

I occaisionally get surveys from them and they pay me $1 via PayPal, but this week they sent me two one pound packages of Johnsonville sausages to try and, although, I usually do not eat sausages, these were pretty good. It's difficult to track how much I have earned becaus they do not give a payment history online and their website is difficult to access for me at times.

I have received $50 from Surveys.com also know as GfK, a global market research company. I have also received several payments ranging from $1 to $5. I would have to check my PayPal in order to give accurate earnings.

November 27, 2008
I am at the very end of the survey on Excedrin Expres Gel, which I have not taken before and just received the error message:
Unfortunately it seems that you have attempted to do this survey in more than one session. Because of the nature of this survey, we cannot allow multiple sessions to complete this survey. Thank you for your time.
I was up to page D16 when the message suddenly and unexpected appeared and asked me to close the window. I did not hit the back or forward keys or stop for an extended period of time. Thank you for investiagting as my time is valuable.
