2020 Research

I joined 20/20 research a couple of months back, but i never got any surveys from them. I think they mainly focus on interactive studies or focus groups.

So, i was surprised when i got a call from them on tuesday, asking me if i was intersted in participating in a focus group that would be held on thursday and friday. I agreed, and today i finished part of the study, and i should finish the rest tomorrow. I cannot tell you the topic of the research for obvious reasons, but it was pretty easy, and i should get a $50 Amazon gift card, after completing it.

So, looking forward to tomorrow. :D

Last month I got a call from them about participating in a focus group, but thought I had made the final cut. When the day of the focus group arrived without a login instructions message I called them. Someone very sweetly informed me that I had not made the final cut, but since I was on the phone, could I provide some additional info to see if I qualified for another focus group. I didn't qualify, but I thought that was nice that they wanted to help me since I had called them.

A few weeks later, I got another call that I qualified for a focus group, but it was scheduled during my vacation. No problem! They re-scheduled me for focus group #2. I just completed it.

I have never heard of 2020 Research until I read this thread. I don't think I will be joining this panel any time soon since the three research centers are not close to me but I will leave you all with some links to hope you decide if this panel is for you.

Eddie, I'm not near the 3 research centers, either, but today I got a check for $75.00 from them, and that was 7 days after participating in an online focus group.

While I vaguely remember registering with them, I 've never received any email invites from them - I had to find about their online focus groups elsewhere and then fill out the screener questionaires. I've done about 1-2 unsolicited screener surveys a week since this spring, never hearing from them until the last month. So don't give up on them. They're prompt in their payments and very courteous.

I just got my $50 gift card, and was wondering if it can be used by someone else other than me. I normally do not use gift cards, and do not have anything that i might want to buy in Amazon.

If I were you, I would NOT even be thinking of selling it. I mean why would you if the incentive is for participating in a research project. Anyway, if the gift card is a physical card then I THINK it could be used by someone other than you, unless the card is registered with your name. If the gift card is a code that can be entered online like Amazon, then I would think that your the only one that can access that code. Nevertheless, that is just my opinion because I have NEVER thought of selling a gift card.

I'd not heard of them until they sent an e-mail to join a focus group of theirs. I'm still waiting for a responce.
