Hello New Members!
Welcome to our humble forum, where we try to give you the real scoop on which surveys pay, how much they pay and how long it takes to get paid. One thing that is very helpful for survey takers is to know which demographics are the most desired by survey companies and it is difficult to know what they might be looking for without some basic information so I thought that this thread might be a good way to both introduce ourselves and to also give some basic demographic information that might prove useful. Feel free to give as much or as little information as you are comfortable with.

My name is Lapis Lee and I am a 49-year-old (and holding) Caucasian male with a degree in English Literature from Va. Tech and an Associate's Degree in Computer Programming, who is disabled and self-employed. I own The Lapis Connection (http://www.lapisconnection.com), which is a small eBay company where I sell my handcrafted sterling silver gemstone jewelry. I mainly specialize in selling lapis lazuli, which is the only dark blue semi-precious stone found primarily in Afghanistan and Chile, but I also have unique, exotic and hard-to-find items, such as rare vinyl records, Alapca Silver necklace and earring sets from Peru, .950 sterling silver lapis earrings from Chile, custom handcrafted lapis inlaid knives from Pakistan, lucite encased tarantulas and scorpions from China and a variety of other items that can't be found anywhere else.

In addition to my eBay and survey-taking activities I love to go out to eat at Thai and Japanese restaurants, I go to a lot of rock concerts and love a good bottle of Chardonnay, preferably with some fresh sushi. I read vociferously, visit museums for art and history and post on several forums on topics as diverse as astrology, the Bible and Sean Lennon (http://seanonolennon.com/), who is an online friend of mine. I have a long term girlfriend and no children (that I know of) other than her 14-year-old son, who is an avid skateboarder. I own a small house and three cars: a 2006 Ford Mustang, a 2004 Toyota Camry and a 1998 Mercedes 300 E-Class. I received a kidney transplant March 1, 2005 after 15 years on dialysis and live with my 80-year-old father, who loves country music and is active in softball and bowling. Hi everybody,
I'm schneiderman and I am a 32 years old, Caucasian, male who is a high school math teacher in Arizona.
I actually was introduced to the pay survey world through a colleague who earned checks through Pinecone. I was intrigued so I did some research into it and slowly got into more and more sites. I am a member of Greenfield online and sort of followed Lapis Lee as he would post a cryptic version of his top sites over there. I couldn't figured out some of the codes and recently Googled Lapis Lee which led me to the blog and now here.
At first I thought that doing these online surveys would be a neat way to get a little cash into my savings since we live pretty much paycheck to paycheck, but I had to dip into that reserves for the bills last month.
Lapis Lee inspired me to create a big spread sheet to track weekly what I have earned and monthly what I have requested and received. I will post my rankings soon.
I'm hoping this forum will be a good place to share info so we will not fall victim to scams and the like.
Good job so far :D

Hello everyone!
I'm Athena and I have just recently joined your free surveys.
I am a piano instructor who had recently moved due to my husband making a career change.
After a couple of months trying to get piano students and no luck, I decided to see what I could make taking online surveys.
I have a Chronic Illness named Fibromyalgia which makes it difficult for me to work outside the home since I can't stand/sit for long hours without being in pain.
I'm rather confused about this whole thing and am not 100% sure where to start.....but will give it a go.
It was actually stumbling across this forum and reading about scam free survey sites that prompted me to try this out.
Anyways nice to meet you all :)

I'm 21 and also have FIBROMYALGIA :(
That's the reason why I started doing online surveys.
I understand perfectly what you're going through but don't give up, it will get better. Just research every site before you join them!

I'm sorry you have fibromyalgia as well, it sucks. I too have had fibro since I was 21, I'm now 28.
From looking around this forum I'm only signing up for survey sites listed here. It's a bit overwhelming but in the past half hour I have made at least $5.
Need to figure out how to set up a paypal account. I'm not sure if I just choose the personal account or what? I
'll make sure to continue reading up on the tips, etc. that are located here in the forums.
It's nice meeting you and thanks for the welcome.

Hello all:),
I recently joined the forum but have been reading the yourfreesurveys blog for awhile. I'm soon-to-be 24 and a nursing student. I really like the idea of earning some money at home so I started doing online surveys around April/ May. I was spending a lot of time online and thought I should really research ways to generate a little extra income while I'm online. I have made a few bucks here and there with some of these survey sites. I've sinced joined many sites and I'm trying to find a systematic way of keeping track of my balances and earnings for all the survey sites I've joined, maybe I'll try a spreadsheet. I really enjoy this site as it has been a major help in choosing what survey companies to join.

When your account reaches $30, payment is sent by Paypal automatically, and is paid out in $30 increments each time your balance reaches this amount.

On the internet I am known as Mr Survey or Ol' Hippie. Here I am Mr Survey. I am 52 and not good at forums, there are some that I have completely given up on as they were just to hard to figure out. This one seems to be better. But, I am not really sure I am posting this the correct way! I have been taking surveys about 5 years, I have made some good extra money but cannot really tell you how much because my record keeping sucks. When I am not filling out surveys I work on my websites. I have 2 sites, which if I am correct I am not allowed to post here. One is about taking surveys (what else?) and one is about Hippies and music. `~~~~ PEACE

I found this forum by a link some where, I don't remember where. Later when I wanted to come back I could not remember the url, so I just Googled "Your Free Surveys" and clicked on the first thing that poped up. I see now that this forum is part of or affiliated with a site that you sign up with to receive surveys (or a list of survey companies) :confused : was I suppose to sign up there in order to be a forum member? I could not sign up there because I am already a member of the three survey companies they said I had to sign up with to continue (with the sign up). If I did sign up with "Your Free Surveys" what would I get  I was thinking I would just be able to see a list of survey companies. All the companies they know about I probably already know about and have listed on my website, but I am always looking for new companies that I have not heard about.
Sorry if I posted this in the wrong spot or have not made my question clear.

You'll get a $4 bonus for registering, and we pay by Paypal when your account balance reaches $30. If you haven't already found it, www.yourfreesurveys.com/wordpress is the best blog about "all things surveys" on the internet!!! I know this because I write it :D . It has a very long list of survey sites that I have reviewed. Let me know if you need more information. Thanks!

Was a home health nurse for 12 years, till i had damage to 3 cervical vertabrae lifting my patients. It was the most enjoyable job i have every had. I really miss it, but i keep in touch with a lot of my patients. Just started doing surveys beginning of theyear and have had several bad experiences so all your info has been extremely helpful. HI Maryl,
First of all welcome to the forum. You can find all the information you need about surveys here, so try to make the most of it. :)
Okay then, Paypal is an online bank that you can use for storing your cash, and carrying out online transactions, more quickly and easily. It is owned by Ebay, so you needn't really worry about it closing down.
If you want to open an account all you need to do is got to www.paypal.com , and register for an account. It's FREE, and there are different types of accounts like personal account, and a premier account. But unless you are an Ebay seller, and handle large transaction, you should be fine with an personal account.
The email address that you submit at sign up, is like your account no. If asked that is the email address you should give, to have money transferred to you account. Make sure you have a really strong password, with atleast 14 characters, or better still you can buy an security key for $5, to ensure better security.
You can attach you bank account to your paypal account, that makes it much more easier to transfer money between your accounts.
So, just log in, open an account, and be sure to read the terms and conditions, and help topics if necessary to get an good idea about the bank.

Hello...
As you can read my "name" is Gaininghope...and I an very new to this.. So I do have some questions if other's don't mind answering...
First.. I am at stay at home mom of two kiddos and decided just last week that I needed to make a few extra buck, because the price of gas is KILLING my family...
So here are the questiosn.
1. I have already signed for for almost all 25 tops sites that are listed here and on another site as well.. So how long is the average wait time for a "newbie" like me, before I start getting surverys in my email?
2. What is the average weekly/month earning can "newbies" like me expect to make?
3. What is the best way to go about the paperwork involved? What information do I need to save, etc?
4. What's up with all these sites that ask you to participate in thoes sepcial offers or gifts, where you have to sign up for a silver and gold offer.. To me this seems like a waste of time and money, since if I were to "pay" for all these offers.. I would be broke before even making any money.. So what do you all do about these?
PS... I should say that, NO, I really don't expect to make millions of dollars each month and that I know that this is NOT a get rich quick type of thing.. I am really just trying to make atleast $50.00 per month or so here..
Thanks in advance here...

Check out the 'Sites That Pay!' thread because it lists the companies that send out surveys to various countries around the world and those are the ones that are most likely to accept registrants from the Bahamas. By the way, I visited Freeport in the 80's during Junkanoo and had a blast!

But even the sites like sendearnings and inboxdollars have them as well..So if they are a scam, why would legit sites have them posted as well?
Sorry for all the questions.. but you have to learn some where..might as well learn from thoes who know.:)
Because ALL offer sites CREDIT you for the survey you do BEFORE you reach the page where you have to start doing the offers. When you get to that page, close it!

HI gaining hope,
I saw your question regarding the platinum , gold offers, that you see on offer sites, and i would like to make it clear that u really do not need to do those offers, all u need to do is click on them.
Also almost every offer site, has tutorials or tips on how to complete offers, and i am really surprised at how many people do not read them. Before joining ANY site the first thing to do is read the FAQ's , and also visit the forums to read the reviews, posts of members. There you will find out about how the site pays, and when.
Also regarding offers, i have already posted info about completing them, but the short version is that there are some good offer sites, and you can really make some good money from them. The offers are categorised as Brandarama, MID, Consumer expression, free trials etc.
You can earn more from the free trials, but make sure to read the terms and conditions before you sign up for them. Regarding the free offers, as the name suggests they are free, all u need is an address and an phone no ( you can get a no at evoice).
There are different procedures for completing different offers. Some credit on just an email submit, while some require that you complete all the pages and then click on the offers that you see on the platinum offers page.
Hope this helps, just remember to know as much as you can about the site before you join. :)

Hi folks! My name is Carol(many do call me Mimsy or Mims 'cause I've used this nick almost everywhere for ages) and I'm a single *cough* 49ish *cough* woman living in SE Pennsylvania. I've been doing surveys on and off for decades. I first started doing them by snail mail and graduated to the online versions as companies moved online. I haven't been doing them in any great volume until about December of last year when my doctor pulled me from work because my back pain was so bad that I had to take lots of narcotics just to be able to make it through a day of work with the kind of physical stuff being a chef entails (don't let the TV shows fool you- it's VERY hard work and one of the lowest paid fields out there). I guess he thought I'd be a danger to myself and others wielding knives and dealing with finger-hungry slicers and such.
As I was on disability and fighting with the insurance company() to receive my benefits, I began looking for ways to make money online. This lead me to sign up for as many pay for survey sites as I could find. I also looked into a lot of the other make money online schemes and, of course, there are a LOT of them designed to take money from people who have none to spare in exchange for snake oil. There are some excellent ways to earn money online, for sure, but there's nothing fast or easy. Like everything else, it takes knowledge, time and work-something that's never intimidated me.
After being out of work for 12 weeks, my company "voluntarily" terminated me, so I'm trying to get well enough to go back to work. Sadly, I won't be able to work in the same capacity as Chef, which really bums me out because it's truly my passion. So, I'll be looking for something that's strictly management. If that doesn't pan out, I'll be back at the bottom of the pay scale doing something I have yet to foresee... Anyone in PA need an intelligent, assertive woman for... whatever?? (I heard that! no, I don't sell sex!) In short, the few bucks here and there that I may get from doing surveys will sure come in handy!
Anyway... it's good to be here with you folks and I hope, if nothing else, to connect with some good people and maybe, even if I don't make any money, I hope to make some friends which, in the end, are far more valuable than a few bucks anyway!

Hello, all!
My name is truefire. I'm a black, 23-year old male who currently attends college at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland. I double major in English and Psychology, and I'm a gamer to the core. I like anime and manga, and I love reading in general, though college has put a big damper on my personal reading time (I just can't do it much when I feel like I have to). I like cooking, and love seafood. I aim to make that my specialty of choice as I improve my culinary prowess over the years. Aside from my oceanic tastes, I'm an addict for the spicy--it had better be satisfyingly hot (or hotter), or not at all.
I reside in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania between semesters, and the job search has not been kind to me. After a few months of frustration, I stumbled upon survey sites, which I've come to enjoy and hope to remain a part of before and after I have found employment. I am hoping that this semester will give me some internship opportunities to improve upon my abysmally vacant resume page,
I look forward to my time on this forum, and it is nice to meet you all.

Hello everyone. My name is Peggy. I'm from the Philadelphia, PA area and I just joined yesterday. I read some of LapisLee's posts on the Greenfield Online Community Forums and was so impressed that I stalked him...LOL. Thanks so much for steering me in the right direction, Lee!!
I've been a member of Garb for 2 years but I've only qualified about 5 times and earned $50. Last month I signed up on Greenfield and SurveySpot and I DQ 90% of the time. But I've been plugging away and spending several hours a day doing surveys.
I don't like wasting time taking the sweepstakes entry surveys and I get frustrated doing $1 surveys that take 30 minutes or more. And, like most of you, I get really annoyed when I've spent 10 or more minutes answering questions only to be to told "survey not available" or they have enough respondents . The best one yet was when I was asked ONE question: "Are you Peggy?" I answered yes and got this: "Unfortunately you did not qualify for this survey due to the specific requirements". Makes me wonder why they even sent me an email inviting me to participate.
But I've figured out that you have to do the crappy surveys in order to receive invites to decent paying surveys, product tests and Invoke interactive surveys. Since the beginning of July, I've earned $76 on SurveySpot (requested payment but didn't receive yet) and $80 on GreenfieldOnline (only $40 has been posted and I requested payment but didn't receive yet).
Guess that's it for now. I'm looking forward to learning more and participating in the board. :)

I'm just having an incredibly busy week for surveys. I've had TWO high paying discussions this week from I-Trax which was very enjoyable although quite time consuming. I've also had an unusually very busy week with other surveys too. Is there anyone who is also experiencing the same week as i am??

hi... ummm... I'm new here, and I seem to be having a problem. Whenever I do my survey, it doesn't seem to credit me. Am I doing something wrong? I've already done like 3... This keeps happening to me on other survey sites, too...
I'm new here as well. I just started taking surveys 10 days ago. Notice some sights post your earnings right away and some say it will take a few business days, etc. A good thing to do is look under the Questions and Answers which is where they may explain their process. The only one I seem to be having trouble with is Focus Point Global. I receive an e-mail thanking me for completing survey yet when I asked where my rewards were they said I never completed these surveys even though I had proof. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Also, I took 2 interactive survyes with the same company but when I asked where my money was they said they were with the site where they orignated and dummy me forgot which site directed me there. I'm learning.
What sites are you having trouble with?

Hello, I'm new here. I hope I post this message at the right place. If not, you’ll have to excuse me.
I was searching on Internet and ended up here. I really enjoy this site! It has tons of information and I have tried to read as much as I can. But since I am new at this, it is too much information to take in at once. And I am a bit confused.
I live in Cyprus, Europe, and I decided to see if I could get some extra pocket money taking online surveys. I seems fun- I enjoy taking surveys but have never registered for paid ones before, and I have the time.
I have already signed up for almost all 25 tops sites that are listed here and on other international sites as well. It has passed almost 2 months and I have only received 1 survey, that I did not qualify for.
Is this normal to wait this long for survey invitations? Is my profile maybe not the right one-I’m a mother of 4, housewife and working part-time tutoring. I have a hotmail account, and I check daily for e-mail and double check so that nothing ends up in the junkmail.
Am I doing something wrong? Or shall I just be patient and wait?
I would appreciate any help, tips or ideas to see if I going about this the right way. Or maybe you could recommend an international forumsite to visit, that maybe I have missed..
Thank you for a nice site!
Regards,
Irini

I don't think the problem is your profile. I think the lack of surveys is due to your living in Europe. Hang in there!

Yep i just realised that all the surveys that are running through Greenfield aren't being accessed at all. This is two days running that i have had these problems. I thought i was having computer problems at first but after hearing that you are having problems too it must be Greenfield's fault.......anyway.....Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!:)

I'm new at this, so, please bear with me.
I recently signed on with YourFreeSurveys - a really informative site - and have earned a small amount ($6).
Problem: The reward amount is showing up, but, has not been transfered to my PayPal account. All of the necessary info has been correctly entered and the PayPal account is open.
Can you advise me?

Hey Carole,
You need to reach the $30 amount before your money is transferred to your Pay-Pal account. As soon as you hit $30 it's automatically sent........hope that helps you out...

Hello Heath-Could you help me with some thing. I'm new here to the forum. I understand to post a new, original message, just click on Reply-this particular page says "reply to thread". That is what I am doing. But-how do I know where to look for my post? If you could explain to me how all this works, I would appreciate it very much. Thank you very much. Larry.

Hi Larry! Welcome to the forum! Just pay attention to the name of the thread that you post to, you'll see at the top of the page where it will tell you the main category, in this case it is "main forum-suggestions and help getting started in the online survey world". When you come back, you'll know which section you posted in. You can also click on "search" on the blue tool bar, and put in anything that you may want to find out about. Thanks! Heath

Hi, My name is Anita Sinclair, CEO of Hagen/Sinclair Research Recruiting in California. Getting straight to the point, I'm trying to recruit citizens in the UK to participate in a highly paid online study about household paper products. I am wondering if I can post details here for your members to respond to if they are interested. I don't want to make a faux pas and post details without asking permission.
Please advise. Also, if there are other forums where we could post, recommendations would be greatly appreciated. We need 24 people before Monday, December 15th.
Thanks ever so much,

HI-I am 55 female from MA. I have been doing surveys for a long time, but up untill last year only @ greenfieldonline, basically cause I want aware of other suvey sites. I've been a member of Quick Rewards for a long time, do greenfield surveys thru them, pays more than greenfield itself.
Anyway I saw a post in the QR blog about how this site pays more for OTX surveys, here you get $1.05 , QR pays 75 cents. So I've switched and do them here. I just made my 1st $30 here and was surprised to see how FAST the money was in my paypal acount. I especially like that you dont have to ask for it, its done automatically.
I dont have fibro but rather IBS which is a digestive disorder, some w/fibro also have it. To say the least it keeps me home for several hours and now I can make my home time productive so I am thrilled. I dont expect to get rich from surveys but am pleased with the way things are going so far. I especially like this forum.
I used to think I was doing good when I belonged to pay to surf sites, like netflip, search cactus and freeride, I'd make maybe 80 cents a day and thought that was great. I also had many legal seafood gift certificates and free gas from Freeride. It seems when the internet sort of went bust (a few yrs ago) these sites stopped/reduced what you got to search so I stopped doing things on them.
I hope everyone has a great holiday season, qualify for many surveys and get paid lots of money :)

Hi,
I think I understand how to post now. I am Lou. I have been taking surveys off and on bout 4 years now. I started doing them for fun. I won 1000 a couple of years ago but that was a sign up contest with survey spree. I am glad I found this site. Also, believe what is said about don't buy when it is free. I am a50 year old woman and have decided I am either dull or don't recieve as many surveys because of my age. This site pays better than most. And hey all men you should be able to do well cause alot of guys won't mess with surveys. I am trying to be serious about surveys now and all the pointers are helpfu. TY:)

newbie here.i've been doing surveys on and off for about 2 years now. i don't work outside the home, so i have the time.
love yourfreesurveys and glad i found this forum! really looking forward to meeting lots of friends on here. i love forums but my old ones just seemed to fade out and i was looking for so long for a forum that i could really be interested in.
besides doing surveys, i also belong to many ptc (paid to click) sites. it's not very lucrative yet as i have just started. besides that i'm on dial-up connection right now and it really takes long so i don't get as many sites done as i'd like to in every day.
well, hope to chat more later.

Hi there,
I got started in the survey thing about a month ago and signed up to as many sites as I could. I still have not received any paid requests to take a survey. Does being a South African mean I don't get selected? Does anyone know of sites were a South African's opinion would be of interest?

I am a new member here.I have had joined the survey since the last couple months. At the beginning, my account was always credited everyday for the survey I completed. But recently, I received my earning only twice a week. It was even worse, I've got no paid at all since last Thursday and I have done many surveys. It seems the payments are getting slower and slower. Could someone please tell me what is going on here??
I enjoyed taking surveys on this site very much and had no problem with the payments until recently. I am so frustrated.

You're right, Lee. I wrote about it in a blog post this week, but not everyone subscribes so I didn't have another way of letting everyone know. We are conducting a system upgrade this week, so the accounts won't show the correct balance until Mon, March 2nd. Paypal payments will be paid on Monday as well. Sorry for the inconvenience. After that, everything should be back to normal with lightening fast credits and payments Heath

To take a YourFreeSurveys survey, you have to login your account here (http://www.yourfreesurveys.com). There are you different link you can click on to take a survey... One is a Greenfied online survey and the other is OTX. I think Greenfield pays you more but I not sure since I rarely participate in these daily surveys. Also YFS sometimes sends you survey emails that can only be accessed via the link in email. This doesn't happen that often so I would recommend daily surveys.

I have been receiving the survival guide to online surveys for quite sometime now and thought it was about time I joined the forum here. I'm sure I will enjoy it. I read my emails from survival guide everyday and really enjoy them. Most of the sites that are discussed I have been a member of for almost two years now. And have found some new sites also. It's a great way for me to find out new news regarding the sites I belong to and keeping me updated on the reviews I read.
When I began taking surveys over two years ago I never dreamed that would lead me to so many different sites. Taking surveys, voicing my opinion, learning about new products before they hit the market and product tests have become one of the most interesting things I've ever committed myself to. And making a few extra bucks now and then isn't bad either. I enjoy the time I spend taking surveys. I found out in April of 2004 that I had cancer ( 3 years cancer free this month :)). Getting involved with my sites mean a lot to me and has helped me overcome so much in my life. I'm finally able to feel somehow I'm able to give valuable feed back that can make a difference in our world. I find it exciting and well worth the time and effort I put into answering survey questions. Aside from my family and friends survey taking helps me live my life to the fulless and using ones brain is always a good thing.
Looking forward to reading thru the forum and making friends. Have a great day and God Bless.

Hello All,
My name is Steve and I started doing online surveys at the end of April. I just wanted to thank Lee for all of the great information he has posted on this forum for - it was very valuable to me as a beginner. I felt it was time I start posting my opinions to the various posts I have been reading. I have to agree with others that YFS is my favorite survey site. It did not take me long to reach the $30 level the first time and the fact the payment was sent to my PayPal account automatically was fantastic. After some experiences now with other sites - YFS is the best in my opinion. You do not need to be an accountant keeping track of your earnings and asking for payment - it so efficient. I am more than halfway towards my next $30 already. I have things to say about my experiences on other sites - and I will post them in the various threads. Thanks, STEVE

I have been sucked into this forum already, so I'm sure I'll be asking a bunch of questions soon.

Hi Everyone,
My name is Carolyn, I'm 21, and I live in Florida. I have an Associates degree and I'm currently a full-time college student working on my B.A. in English. I moved away from home last year, but found myself moving back for my final year of college due to family and financial issues. I wasn't allowed to live in a dorm because at UCF it's "freshmen" only with 50,000 students enrolled and hardly housing for 10,000 students, most students are forced to live in apartments. Not a bad experience, especially since my apartment had a shuttle system arriving every 15 minutes to go to and from campus, but rent was outrageous because they sublease one place to four people ( approx. $600 per person, $2400 per month per unit of students!). Needless to say, the only thing I'll miss is having the shuttle system. I missed my friends a lot so I'm actually happier to be home, but not satisfied with transferring to another college and having to drive over an hour round-trip each day.
I just joined this website a few days ago and I've already found some very helpful tips. I started joining survey panels about a week ago because my tuition has gone up 15% this semester while my Florida Bright Futures scholarship went down drastically because the state doesn't have much funding left. I don't expect to make much money, but making $20-30 a month would definitely be helpful. (Excluding the free sign up bonuses - I've already made $22 just from surveys in the past week!) I like that some survey sites have the option for Amazon gift cards since I buy the majority (if not all) my books from other people for half the price! I have saved over $150 this semester on books and made over $100 back from selling books. I'm not sure what else to add. I have two cats, I go to the movies at least twice a month, I enjoy reading, and over this summer I've wasted a lot of time playing video games on my Xbox360. (My excuse? It's one way to keep in touch and interact with friends who no longer live in the state.) I think this post is a bit long, so I'll stop here. I just want to thank everyone who has provided a lot of insight about good and bad survey sites on this forum. Have a nice day!

that is why I joined. I have found that after 1 year that is what I make from about 5 hours of survey taking...much less in the first 6 months. I only wanted to make enough to pay for my monthly internet bills which it finally does...be patient and the 5$ surveys will come...I limit my surveys to ten which is free on roboform...Rick.

My name is Ladybelle. I am a grandmother to 5 babies, 2boys and 3 girls. They are much fun. I live in Indianapolis, In. I too have Fibromyalgia and am not working. I love gemstones, sewing and needlework. If I can ever help anyone with anything, please let me know. Although you guys will be helping me!! I have just within the last month started with surveys, but it takes alot of time to weed through them. I would like to ask if anyone knows anything about ClixSense. I recently joined them. Well, I will close for now.

I'm new to posting here but have been reading the posts since I started doing surveys a little over 4 months ago. All the tips and advice from everyone has saved my butt and helped me on my way. I've made close to $1500 so far and tested more products than I can count. The invoke invites are the best (obviously). I've learned the "sweepstakes only" sites are pretty valuable after all. Greenfield has been very good to me. So anyway I just wanted to say thanks and so glad I found you all. Looking forward to reading all the great advice and experiences you all have. ;) Have a great night.. or day, wherever you may be.

$1500 in 4 months? Hey Lapis, when are you going to catch up? She must use a super computer.
StephAngel71

Super computer? LOL Nope. The majority of the money I've earned has been from the rewards attached to testing products, invoke solutions, and these 2-4 day forums I get invited to where I have to login for at least 90 minutes a day and just answer questions. I've also done every survey sent to me, or at least tried to unless I didn't qualify. I've never deleted a survey or closed it out because the reward wasn't big enough or because it was a sweepstakes entry only. Maybe that's why I get so many invites to the big ones. Who knows really.. but I'm sure not gonna complain about it.

Hello all. My name is Anne R. My UserName is YogaPrincess. I have a disabling medication condition which resulted in my inability to work about 10 years ago. Three (3) years ago, I started taking on line surveys as a hobby. I am a member of about 12 sites. Some of those sites (i.e. Survey Spot) send one or more survey invitations a day while others might send only one a month of less.
Largely based on what I have learned here, I have identified which survey sites are worth my time and energy. If I spend too much time on the computer, it results in one of my medical struggles which is dizziness. So, with a limited amount of time I can spend on the computer, I was very happy to find this Forum which does a lot of work for me! Survey sites are reviewed my the Moderator and forum members post their experiences.
If you are serious about survey taking, I high recommend you subscribe to this blog.:)

I visited Portland regularly and there was a great seafood place downtown where I would order fresh Alaskan Halibut, amongst various other items. Fresh A.H. is not easy to find in Pensacola. Is the restaurant still there?

Randy: you might be looking at the membership date that is located in the upper right corner of a member's post. I did the same thing! Also, to share another snag I came across:
When I received an email indicating someone had posted on a thread I was following, I would click on the link in my email, usually see my post and the newer post. I would write a response before I realized I had to log in (even though I had reached the site by clicking the link in my email) and lost what I had written because I wasn't logged in.
Welcome!
