CotterWeb Enterprises (http://www.cotterweb.net/index.php) owns two of the better get paid to read/survey/trial offer/game/shopping sites, Inbox Dollars (http://www.yesfree.com/clicktracker/c.php?k=1.361.60) and Send Earnings (http://www.yesfree.com/clicktracker/c.php?k=1.198.23). They are identical for the most part and so they will be treated under the same thread.

Both allow you to earn $0.50 (formerly $1.00 until March 2008) per survey, 2 cents per click and to sign up for various offers, as well as other activities, such as playing games, shopping for cash refunds and referrals, that I am less familiar with. There is a limit of one survey each per day from each site for a total of $30 per month, if you are careful. Don't make the mistake of taking surveys from Greenfield Online, an affiliate of CotterWeb, for sweepstakes entries before you have completed your InboxDollar and SendEarning (http://www.yesfree.com/clicktracker/c.php?k=1.198.23)surveys for the day, because every time you complete a Greenfield Online survey you have one less chance at earning $0.50 from these two companies.

The most important things you need to know about these two companies is that they each have a $30 minimum pay out point, which is reachable within a reasonable amount of time. They each charge a $3 'processing fee' for the first check they send out. They have a two month waiting period from the time you request your money until the time they 'process' and send out your check. I requested my first check from InboxDollars on May 1 and received it on June 7. The processing date was listed as June 2. Once you receive your first check for $30 you also receive your Gold Membership (http://www.sendearnings.com/members/become_gold_member), which offers these benefits.

Weekly Payments
As a Gold Member, you can start requesting your checks to be processed on a weekly basis, rather than a monthly schedule.

More Referral Rewards
Every time a new member joins SendEarnings® (http://www.yesfree.com/clicktracker/c.php?k=1.198.23) without being referred, they are placed in a pool of new non-referred members. Your Gold Membership guarantees you a portion of these “referrals.”

Double Sweepstakes Entries
Your Gold Membership gives you an additional Sweepstakes entry for each entry you earn, which doubles your chances to win!

Exclusive Monthly Offer
Gold Members have access to exclusive monthly offers that only Gold Members can view and enjoy.

Here is some information about Cotter-Web Enterprises.

CotterWeb Enterprises, Inc. was established in 2000 with the founding of InboxDollars.com. We have subsequently acquired SendEarnings.com and are headquartered in Mendota Heights, Minnesota, a suburb of Saint Paul. We provide our members a compelling way to be rewarded while engaging in various product and service trials, surveys and other online activities, such as shopping and casual gaming. We provide advertisers and market research firms an efficient means to reach a targeted online audience.

InboxDollars.com and SendEarnings.com (http://www.yesfree.com/clicktracker/c.php?k=1.198.23) are among the leading consumer online loyalty sites in the U.S., with a combined membership base of more than 5 million. We are actively increasing the number of members and major advertisers using our service. As we have grown, we have added considerable talent to our team and currently employ approximately 30 people.

CotterWeb was founded in 2000 by Daren Cotter. As a Computer and Information Systems major at Minnesota State University, Mankato, Minn., Cotter was inspired to become a part of the rapidly growing Internet advertising industry and as a result, he created the Web site InboxDollars.com. The business model revolved around “Getting Paid to Read E-mail.” It allowed members to receive email ads targeted to their interests and to be rewarded for reading and responding to the ads. This enabled advertisers to reach consumers with specific demographic backgrounds and guaranteed visits to their Web sites. The site was built in June of 2000 and was immediately profitable, enabling Cotter to support himself while completing his degree.

In 2004, InboxDollars left the dorm room with Cotter, and with his additional time and effort the business grew from six-figure revenue in 2003, to seven-figure revenue in 2004. At this point Cotter brought on trusted friends, Mike Murzyn, Brian Erickson and Joe Sosa, who are all still key members of the CotterWeb Team. Together they continued to build the business and in 2005 and 2006, key managers were brought on board to further develop the business. Seasoned business leader Jack Johnson was brought on as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining the company, Johnson was Chief Executive Officer of Active IQ, a NASDAQ-listed company, which was subsequently acquired by Stellent. Keith Olson was brought on as well and is Vice President of Business Development. Prior to joining CotterWeb, Olson worked in the Institutional Securities Group at Morgan Stanley in New York. In 2008, Chip Cuccio joined the company as Chief Technology Officer. Prior, he was the Director of E-commerce and Web Marketing at Jostens.

Since the information for both InboxDollars and SendEarnings (http://www.yesfree.com/clicktracker/c.php?k=1.198.23) is identical, I will provide some basic infomation from InboxDollars:

1. How can InboxDollars® reward me for my online activities? Advertisers pay InboxDollars® to reach consumers like you. InboxDollars® shares the revenue we receive from advertisers with our Members. Your time and participation are valuable, so join now to be rewarded!

2. Does it cost anything to join InboxDollars®? Absolutely not! InboxDollars® is 100% free to join. In fact, we pay you! Simply complete our Signup Form and we’ll credit your account $5.00 just for trying our service.

3. I signed up but did not receive my Confirmation E-Mail? Your Confirmation E-Mail is sent immediately after you sign up for InboxDollars®. It may take a few minutes for the Confirmation E-Mail to reach your Inbox, especially if you are using a free email service provider such as Hotmail, Yahoo, or Gmail. If you have not received your Confirmation E-Mail within a few minutes, please check your Junk or Bulk folder, as some email providers may automatically filter your E-Mail. To ensure delivery of our Paid Emails™ to your Inbox, please add paidemail@inboxdollars.com to your email address book or contact list.

4. Can I really earn money for reading E-Mails from InboxDollars®? Absolutely! Simply click the confirmation link in the Paid Emails™ that InboxDollars® delivers to your Inbox. After clicking the confirmation link, your account will be credited instantly and you’ll be taken to our Advertiser’s web site.

5. How much E-Mail will I receive? InboxDollars® generally sends 2 or 3 Paid Emails™ per day to our U.S. Members. If your account is active and you are not receiving regular Paid Emails™, please add paidemail@inboxdollars.com to your email address book or contact list. We make every effort possible to send Paid Emails™ to Members outside the U.S., and while we welcome all Members, we can only guarantee regular Paid Emails™ to our U.S. Members.

6. Do I have to sign up for stuff to earn money? Most of the Paid Emails™ that InboxDollars® sends to you will include an opportunity to earn additional money by taking advantage of the offer for the product or service that is being advertised. However, you will earn money for confirming the Paid Email™ regardless of whether or not you take advantage of the offer being advertised.

7. I am an InboxDollars® Member and I have a question. Please visit our Member Support Center where you can find answers to common questions. You can also submit a question through our Help Ticket system and one of our qualified Member Services Specialists will assist you.

Pretty good review Lee!
These used to be great for the daily surveys, but now at .50 instead of a dollar they get put behind from other sites like "Cashcrate" and "DailySurveyPanel" for me.
The funny thing is that they all pay for Greenfield surveys but Greenfield barely pay for theirs :D

I did an offer through FUSIONCASH and received an email from SENDEARNINGS giving me credit for it. Which sucked because SENDEARNINGS paid $0.50 and FUSIONCASH $1.
Has this or something similar happened to you?

We are working with both OTX and Greenfield to offer Daily Surveys direct from YourFreeSurveys at higher rates than you will find elsewhere on the net.

For now we are paying $1.05 for amp surveys (otx) and $.75 for Givemeyour2cents (Greenfield's Opinion Surveys). See your member page for links to the Daily Surveys at YourFreeSurveys. (http://www.yourfreesurveys.com)

We have to prove to OTX that our members are serious about taking surveys and answer the questions honestly and thoughtfully. So Please take your time with the AMP surveys, so we can offer OTX surveys direct and avoid the annoying coreg offers at Amp in the future.

We have a deal in place with Greenfield for the UK now and we are paying $1 per DailySurvey at FreeSurveysUK (http://www.freesurveysuk.com). We should have a similar deal next month for the USA.

That's great but only the OTX survey is higher than anywhere else. I get the same amount for the Givemeyour2cents in FUSION CASH or QUICKREWARDS.NET (which also offers a $1.05 Greenfield survey besides the Givemeyour2cents survey).

Checking a box or a "coreg" just sends your basic information to Inbox, it does not make you a member. They would have sent a few emails asking you to confirm your account before you would be a member.

As I stated earlier, SendEarnings and Inbox are hardly with it anymore. I used to do their Dailys when they paid a buck, but at .50 there are several other daily sites I can get more from. I do try and do the dailys from yourfreesurveys, but I find the other surveys offered are more like paid to try offers.

I have yet to make up my mind on InboxDollars or SendEarnings. I will definitely unsubscibe from Tik Tik Cash (#3 $73.51 with a $100 pay out point and NO SURVEYS!) and will not join any other get Paid to Try (GPT) companies, but InboxDollars and SendEarnings DO offer paid surveys on a daily basis and you CAN earn $15 per month from each site if you are dutiful in going to their website and clicking on take a survey, plus they rank #4 (InboxDollars $46.26) and #6 (Send Earnings $36.65) since February, 2008 on my Surveys That Pay! (http://www.yourfreesurveys.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1&postcount=1) That is nothing to sniff at. Of course, at 2 cents per click I would completely ignore the extra $2 per month tops that you earn from clicking on their silly offers. I am not even sure why I still do it. I guess I just like to click things...

How did you pay for the fee to process your check? and What kind of offers do you complete with IndoxDollars and SendEarnings?
They deduct the $3 fee when you reach $30 and redeem your earnings. I am not doing any more offers with these companies. It's too much of a hassle and I can make the $30 in in a little more than six weeks each now. I do a few offers with Tik Tik Cash just so I can cash out of that quagmire, get my money and unsubscribe.

If you are a Gold Member of Inbox or Sendearnings you don't have to wait to hit the $30 mark before you can send for payment. However, even when you become a Gold Member you still have to pay the $3 processing fee.
The primary advantage of becoming a Gold Member is that your checks are processed weekly instead of monthly. You still have to wait until you reach $30 to cash out and they still charge a $3 processing fee.

That's only true for AMP OTX SURVEYS (every 24 hours). The rest OTX SURVEYS can be taken until the system tells you that you have reached the limit of the day!
I am highly curious about the limit on OTX surveys. It would appear that they allow you to take a specific number of paid surveys, such as up to a total of $1 per day. I am not overly fond of OTX and I cannot recall earning any large sum from any survey that I have taken with them. The good folks over on the Greenfield Online forum complain about OTX constantly and do not even bother taking them in conjunction with Greenfield Online surveys for the most part.

Does that mean you have cashed out with this panel? If so, congrats final reaching the $30 mark. So I am guessing you will unsubscribe after you receive your check, right?
It means that I have cashed out twice and am now a Gold Member so my checks are processed in one week instead of one month, but that I still have to pay the $3 processing fee. I now have Gold Memberships with both InboxDollars and SendEarnings. I also get double sweepstakes entries now.

I joined both Inbox Dollars and Send Earnings and so far in a little over 1 week have totals in the $10.00 range...

So my question is this: How long did it take you to reach the $30.00 mark for the pay out?

Also as an FYI:

I was invited to do a survey for (either Inbox or Send Earning, sorry can't remember which at this moment) a company and they had me watch a whole 30 minute tv show with commercials.. and only get $.50 cents for it... I closed out.. waste of my time.. and wrote a letter to the company about it.. Over an hour for $.50 cents was NOT worth it to me...

Thanks

I reached the $30 cash out point with InboxDollars and SendEarnings in about two months. It took another three months or longer to reach $30 for each the second time. A lot depends on how many of the surveys and trial offers you have completed with other companies.

Thanks for that information there Lee....appreciate it!

After contacting (send earnings, which was the site that had the long survey).. they contacted me back and credit my account for the survey even though I didn't complete it.. They asked for the URL for the survey (which I gave them) and sent it to their contact person.. So they made good on it.. which was great...

I've reached my first 30$ payout (a mix of free non-trial offers, paid emails, and daily surveys) with Sendearnings in about 2.5 weeks. I can expect the check to arrive by October 1st, according to the site.

It should be noted that you should stop doing surveys each day once you have successfully completed one on each site--that's the only one that will get credited. Thus, you can complete one on sendearnings, complete another on inboxdollars, then all the Greenfield and OTX surveys remaining can be done at other, most likely better-paying sites.

I also recommend doing most free offers that come in paid email form. These usually range from 25 cents to 2 dollars, and if they are done correctly, guarantee crediting, unlike some of the more ambiguously detailed offers on the site.

I'm thinking that once I get some more returns from other sites, I'll attempt the gaming features on sendearnings and see how that works. If it's worthwhile, I'll report my findings.

Today I am going to tell you a little story of how IndoxDollars does NOT value my opinion. They send me a survey that according to them would last 40 minutes and the reward for this survey was 1 misery dollar. Well today I was given a better offer from Mindfield Online. I was sent Survey#6949 that was hosted by OTX. This survey paid $6 and according to Mindfield it would last 45 minutes. Now I think IndoxDollars is full of it by sending me this lame invitation that happened to not even work. Yeah thats right the link was dead and say "The page cannot be found." How dare they even consider giving $1 for a 40 minutes survey.

Several months ago, Your2Cents gave me $50 for taking a 2 part survey that last 45 minutes for each part and now this darn IndoxDollars has the nuts&bolt to give me this $1 40 minute survey that is hosted by one of the most unreliable survey site in the face in this earth. Now that my friends is a company how does not value my opinions and the opinions of their other members. Yes it's some true survey sites are NOT created equally..

I am also starting to lose the faith on these two survey/offer sites that are identical in every way. I really do NOT like having to pay a $3 processing fee for every check I get, plus, why don't they offer PayPal when everyone else, even SurveySpot is starting to offer it? Why should I even be a member of BOTH sites? Still, I can't just eliminate my #5 and #9 highest paying survey sites, particularly when I have earned just $33 from Mindfield Online over the past year.

Here is why you don't qualify for surveys with InboxDollars:

We’re sorry, but you presently do not match the criteria for this survey. You may not have qualified for the following reasons:

• Our sponsors are looking for specific demographic information
• Our sponsors are researching a specific topic or product
• The survey quotas may have been filled while you were taking the survey

Can anyone confirm that Send Earnings and Inbox Dollars are now offering $1 for their daily surveys instead of $0.50??.....i was surprised to find out my account at these places were both credited for $1 instead of the usual $0.50. If this is the case it will certainly help me to reach the minimum payment of $30 a lot quicker....

Just sent off for a check from SendEarnings after finally reaching the $30 payment level. I was charged $3 for a processing fee, but to my surprise i got the $3 back as a payment bonus for being a valued member. I was planning on stopping using this company but after receiving this payment bonus i might stick with them for a little while longer even though it takes me a long time to request payment because i only do 1 opinion survey a day for $0.50.

As I have mentioned before I switched e-mail providers and lost most of the surveys I had built up. Inbox has been one of the last to come back. Of course if I had read the directions I would have been cruising all along. I am a man and I stand by that statement. I am glad to be back with Inbox.

I got the same $3 bonus as well the last time i cashed out with them....i just wish they still offered the $1 surveys instead of going down to $0.50 cents. I find one of the best ways to make earnings with them is to try to refer as many people as possible.

I too am losing faith in "Send Earnings" and "Inbox" but I have been paid by them(did not like the check charge) and now I have between $15 and $20 in each so I can't quit yet, but I will as soo as I can cash out. Their surveys don't pay for the time and reading their emails has decreased in payments also. So they are not on my good survey lists anymore!

I'm at $29.95 on InboxDollars, after nine months, and $28.05 on SendEarnings, after one year! I cannot wait to be rid of these two! I have cashed out three times over the past two years with each one for $30 minus the $3 processing fee, but $50 per year is not quite enough to justify the spam they send me.

I too belong to both sites & after 4 months I have 11.60 Send Earnings & 13.58 Inbox Dollars. I only click the paid emails for 2 cents since it only takes a minute and nothing else. Especially not the lame paying surveys for 50 cents. Can't wait till I can finally cash out and doubt I will continue.
