Here is another that is NOT recommended because you have to pay them for a list of survey panels that you can get for FREE elsewhere. Here is what Heath had to say on the YourFreeSurveys Blog: (http://www.yourfreesurveys.com/wordpress)
I got an email from one of our blog subscribers asking if I could help him with a situation he was having with SurveyBank, a pay to join survey site. I know you have all seen those sites out there, the ones promising you the moon and giving you what you can get for free.
Well, I did a little research into SurveyBank, and there isn’t much information out there. Most of it was the same press release type “information”, most of which had been submitted to various sources with word for word “testimonials” from “members”. And of course I visited their website. I’ll give you a few of the highlights:
“The first thing that you will need to do to take part in this great opportunity is become a member ofSurveyBank. You can become a member of SurveyBank today for only $89.99, $79.995, $69.99. For a limited-time, you can join SurveyBank for only $49.99. That’s $40 off the regular registration fee. The only reason why we have temporarily decreased our registration fee to $49.99 is due to the fact that we realize that a vast majority of people are living from paycheck-to-paycheck and cannot afford to shell out $89.99 to join SurveyBank. Remember, there are no monthly/yearly fees or any else that you need to pay for. ”
For the $49.99 special, they claim to provide you with a list of 550 survey sites, focus groups, telephone surveys and movie trailers. They even give you a chart which calculates your earnings for the year if you join their site. So if I have done my math correctly, it looks like if you take 6 surveys a day at $20 a survey, 6 focus groups a week at $110 dollars each, you will earn over $77,000 dollars a year! Sounds like a great plan! Unless, of course, you know that their survey lists are the same list that you can get for free at any number of FREE survey sites (like Yourfreesurveys). Not to mention the fact that you could join each and every one of those 550 websites, and never in a million years, get 6 surveys a day that will pay out $20 a pop. There is no such animal, anywhere.
Sites like these are preying on the people out there who haven’t done ANY research, joined any forums where members discuss what they know and who pays what. They are counting on those people who believe that just because it’s “says so” that they will be able to earn thousands of dollars taking online paid surveys. Don’t we all wish!!!
So please be careful. If it sounds too good to be true, it is. Don’t EVER pay to gain access to a list of survey sites, or any other “make money online” sites. Their lists are no different than any other. There is no magic survey tree to which these sites have access, paying out the big bucks. It will happen as it does with all of us, a little here, a little there, weeding out the good sites from the bad.
