Taking pictures

We are really interested in seeing the things you have texted us about. Please take as clear a picture as possible so we can see what you are describing. Also we are interested in a picture of you, if you are up for sending us one, so we can get to know you a bit better! You will be able to upload your pictures or email them to us, but please don't use MMS as it doesn't work with our system.

Please note that if you send us your photo, we may use it, along with your responses to this survey, to illustrate the findings of the survey in presentations to our clients. Example 1

You notice a really clever ad for Panasonic on the internet which you really like and makes you think about purchasing. You would text: DE53

(D for Panasonic, E for Internet, 5 for Very positive, 3 for might buy it)

In the diary you will be able to let us know exactly what it was.

Example 2

You see an ad for Philips at the movies theatre which you think is quite good, but the price was not within your budget. You would text: FO41

(F for Philips, O for Other, 4 for Fairly Positive, 1 for put me off buying)

As movie theatres are not a designated occasion, you have to use O for Other and let us know in the diary exactly what it was.

Example 3

You went to a store and noticed an LG TV with a good offer which made you feel very positive and much more inclined to buy the brand. You would text: AF54

(A for LG, F for In Store, 5 for Very Positive and 4 for definitely want to buy it)

In the diary we would ask you to specify which store it exactly was

A) Every other evening you are doing the survey we would like you to go online to www.mysmsdiary.org . We will send you a reminder email with a link to it.

Q) How do I log in to the online diary?

A) Your username is your cell phone number and the password is the last four digits of your cell phone number.

Q) What do I have to do when I've logged into the online diary?

A) In the diary, you will see all the texts you have sent to us. We would like you to check the details and give us any other comments about your experiences while they are still fresh in your mind. You can also upload any photos you have taken.

Q) What happens if I don't have a cell signal when I see, hear or experience something?

A) Just send us a text as soon as you are able to. You will be able to adjust the time in the diary.

This is another site that I will cancel out of as soon as I get my $20 credit - when and if I do. I get surveys and get halfway thru or almost done and then pop it states I don't qualify or it just ends. Been having too many problems with them and don't want to put up with the hassle anymore.

If you like Amazon gift certificates then you will like Valued Opinions as you can earn them faster here than anywhere else. I receive almost daily surveys, most of which I qualify for.

The incentives range from $1 up to $8 (for me) on topics suh as consumer goods, entertanment, personal care, food and beverages. I have reached the $20 minimum pay out point three times since I joined on February 18, 2008 and I will cash out again for another $20 Amazon gift card any day now. You do have to wait 28 days (or longer) for the incentives to be credited and occaisionally you will have to contact their excellent support staff here: inquiries@valuedopinions.com

My overall rating for Valued Opinions would be much higher if they offered a PayPal option.

Valued Opinions is an excellent gift card site that has earned me $218.80 since February 18, 2008 and which currently ranks 5th out of my top 25 survey sites. I have completed 93 surveys over the past 22 months with Valued Opinions on the topics of consumer goods, personal interests, entertainment, food, beverages, media, travel and healthcare with incentives ranging from $0.05 to $10.00 and, occasionally, as much as $50 for specialty projects. Most surveys are between five and 45 minutes, with longer surveys earning higher amounts. They pay by email gift card codes, which arrive instantly, after you have reached the $20 minimum cash out. I have cashed out almost every other month since joining.

Registering with Valued Opinions takes only a few minutes and by filling in your account details you are automatically entered into their sweepstakes to win a new iPod Touch. I have been waiting since mid November for Valued Opinions to send me a $20 Visa Gift Card that I selected. I emailed them and the response I got earlier this week was they were delayed due to the holidays. I beleive that was not the true reason because I read on the internet that Valued Opinions which was owned by Research Now - was in the process of being purchased by e-Rewards. I beleive this is holding my reward up and I need to cash out again but I have been waiting for the Gift Card to arrive. Now I am afraid that things are going to change and e-Rewards has inferior reward options compared to Valued Opinions. This was a small piece of what I read from an annoucement that was dated 10/23/2009:

Lee I also just Cashed out Again this time for the $20 Visa Gift Card on 1/12 & Another on 1/15. I will let you know when I receive them in the mail. I would think though if you cashed out right now if you can, that you would get them before Feb 27.

Yes Lee you can use this card anywhere that Visa is Excepted. It comes as a Visa Debit card with your name on front and you use it as Credit.

It's not like the My View Virtual Visa card and can only be used Online, Mail Order or by Phone. Of course they say you can also order the normal Visa card that comes in the mail but they said you have to pay $3.00 more for that. :(

I emailed them and the response I got the first week of Janaury is that the cards were delated because of the holiday and I should receive it by the end of last week. Well that day came and went - since yesterday was a holiday and my mail is a little slow - I am waiting to see if it comes today - if not the email I got said to contact them again. I posted elsewhere that Valued Opinions is in the process of being sold to eRewards - so I assume that is what the hold up is. I bet soon the VISA Gift Card option will be gone - I just hope they do not do away with the Amazon Gift codes - because otherwise eRewards does not have good rewards to choose from in my opinion.. I finally heard from them also. They said there was a delay because of the holidays and I should be receiving my card shortly. So I guess we all have to be patient. I hope they are not going through changes also. I luv getting the Amazon cards. I bet they take them away and have a point system. Yuck.

i agreee... i only use the 2 previously watched dvds from blockbusters from erewards but sucks i can only cash out 4 that every 6 months!

yes it does...i signed up through Northwest Airlines so a lot of my choices are for Airline miles (although i think a lot of people get those choices anyway)

This morning I got a second response back from Isabel at Valued Opinions that I should be receiving it soon that they checked and the cards requested in November were mailed out late last week. Well it did arrive. I think I will go back to Amazon Codes - since they are immediate and I am not sure how long the delays will be now. The first time I cashed out for a Visa card it only took 2 weeks this time it was 2months. As far as eRewards - I am a member of that also and I really do not like their reward options - I do not see Amazon gift codes as an option there - only things like airline miles, blockbuster gift certificates or pizza hut discounts.
