I didn't know where else to place this topic, but Invoke Solutions (http://www.invoke.com/) is a very important part of taking the highest paid surveys online and everyone needs to know something about them. Basically, Invoke Solutions is the company that allows for live, real-time chat where multiple persons are asked questions, shown pictures of products and give their answers simultaneously where everyone can read them. It is similar to being in a chat room only you get paid from $10 up to $150 usually.
Time and Expense are Not a Pre-Requisite for Great Results! (http://www.invoke.com/index/overview_main)
Since 1999, Invoke has worked with the most innovative businesses and research organizations in the world to deliver better insights and smarter decisions, faster. These organizations know first hand that no other methodology can match the excitement of watching qualitative and quantitative insights build in real-time or the speed to decisions that Invoke facilitates.
We focus every research engagement on driving specific business results by measuring, diagnosing, and prescribing at the same time. We leverage our technology to accelerate insights, adapt to market changes, and enable decisions at today’s pace of business. We take a direct approach to research, removing complexity and providing transparent access to your data in interactive dashboards.
Learn more about why respondents, [B][URL="http://www.invoke.com/index/overview_researchers"]researchers (http://www.invoke.com/index/overview_consumers), and decision makers (http://www.invoke.com/index/overview_decisionmakers) all love the Invoke Experience!
People participate in research so they can offer their opinions to the brands, companies, and products that they care about. They want to have a voice in decisions that are being made and help shape the future. Yet, as the most important piece of the research process, they have largely been abused by seemingly endless research requests made up mostly of long, repetitive, closed-end questionnaires, and never-ending choice sets.
The Invoke experience lets people feel like they are having a personal conversation instead of filling out a questionnaire, even in a large group setting. Invoke Engage encourages emotional open-ended responses and provides the opportunity to agree or disagree with other participants rather than just clicking on rating scales. The end result isn’t just a more fun and engaging research experience for participants, it is more thoughtful answers and the desire to come back for more.
A Letter from the CEO (http://www.invoke.com/index/ceo_letter)
As we enter the summer of 2008, the financial landscapes of many organizations are changing. Budgets are tighter, resources are increasingly scarce and research spend is being scrutinized more than ever. Nevertheless, the need to understand your customer and their relationship with your service or product has never been more important, as the “fight is on” for the dwindling business/consumer share of wallet.
We know this to be true, as our clients tell us they are frustrated with the time it takes to conduct research and deliverables that are not providing the fresh insights needed to stay in step with the changing market. Even more, with fewer projects being approved, the need to get uncompromising results from the programs that are “green lighted” is critical.
If you share some of these concerns and are not totally satisfied with the return on investment of your research and search for a more flexible, less cumbersome approach, it is time to contact Invoke. When you do, I will make you one promise; In a fraction of the time and expense of traditional paper, focus groups, cobbled together programs or other “big project” approaches, Invoke will deliver the research you need to position yourself correctly with your key clients.
Our formula is simple; by coupling research/strategy expertise with our state-of-the-art technology, we can streamline processes and timelines, thereby keeping the cost of research at levels that satisfy the economics of our times without sacrificing quality of research.
Please contact me directly. I will be sure to respond and connect you with our research team so we can learn about your business, understand your requirements and design a program that meets your expectations.
At Invoke we truly believe that time and expense are not prerequisites for great research. I hope to hear from you today.
Best Regards,
Ben Cesare,

I will work on that social group thing after I finish tonight's Invoke Interactive. I forgot the topic, but it pays $15 and starts at either 6:30pm or 9:30pm. I signed up for the later time. Anyone else sign up for that?
So did you complete the Invoke survey? Which panel invited you to take that interactive session?
I haven't taken any interactive surveys that really interest me.

I will be taking a $25 Invoke survey on Wednesday about consumer electronics. Hopefully Greenfield will send me a email link so I can participate in this unique survey.
If I do take the survey, then I will post my experiences in here.

I've done a couple of Invoke Surveys on here and they are all enjoyable to participate it. It doesn't hurt when you get paid at least $20 either. On one of their surveys i did it ran over 10 minutes and they paid me an extra $5 for my time. My last experience wasn't too great though but that was totally my fault. I had a $35 survey and because of computer problems i wasn't able to participate.
Hope you have better luck than i did Eddie....

Well I just finished an Invoke interactive survey that paid $25. The topic was about a specific cell phone feature.
I have three problems during the survey. First, I was unable to answer several question because it scrolls down too fast and when I clicked a button I was told I couldn't answer it. Also, I could not give a thumbs up or down when I was shown other peoples opinion on a question. The little circles did not appear and when I tried to click where the button shold be, a message appeared that have an weird effect on my screen. It don't disappear, only the layout of the message a visible. After I finished the survey and closed the invoke window, it still had the popup lines. It kind of hard to explain.

I just finished the $25 Invoke Interactive on T-Mobile MyFaves and it went very well except for one thing: my internet service went out after 36 minutes into the survey!
I was going crazy, so I called the 1-800 Help line and asked for advice and he told me to either wait for it to come back on or try rebooting and if it came back on within a certain amount of time I would be fully compensated for the Invoke. I was going mad from 9:36pm until 10:05pm when it finally came back on! I answered EVERY question FULLY and gave PLENTY of good advice as well as giving a Thumbs Up for each comment I agreed with and a Thumbs Down for those that I did not agree with. I sure hope I get paid for this one as I believe that I answered 2/3 of the questions over 61 minutes out of the 90-minute survey.

Well if you clicked on the link after the session ended, then a new window should have opened with a message saying:
Thank you making the time to participate today.
Your feedback has been very valuable to us. We hope that you enjoyed the experience and will sign up for another session in the future
If you did see this message, then you should receive the incentive. I really enjoyed this "feedback session" because I'm using T-Mobile as my cell phone provider so this survey is very revelant to me. Do you also use T-Mobile?

I got my invitation via Greenfield. The survey was originally a 90 minute sweepstake survey and i had the feeling it was for an Invoke interactive survey. I'm glad i didn't delete the survey which i usually do for sweepstake entries. I advise anyone on here to do the same..

I never got the email from SurveySpot with the link or password for the $45 Invoke and I also got disqualified from the $30 Invoke on T-Mobile MyFaves because my Internet connection (Comcast cable) went out for 26 minutes during the 90-minute survey. I emailed GFO and they explained that a 80% 'contribution rate' is required to be compensated for Invoke Solution Interactives and that I only had a 44% contribution rate; although, I find that hard to believe since I completed 64 minutes out of 90 minutes and gave far more comprehensive answers than any other panelist whom I was able to read. This is the third Invoke Interactive that I have been disqualified from due to technical difficulties. the other two were for not having ActiveX installed or updated, which it was, and 'Several virtual JAVA machines running during the same process', which is well-known problem without a fix according to the JAVA homepage. One of these was with greenfield Online and the other was with SurveySpot, which normally compensates me anyway if I have a technical problem, but did not even respond this time.

So, they say that it is an 90 minute survey for sweepstakes entry, but it is actually for an interactive survey? I got one a couple of days back but deleted it. :o
But what if we actually try it, and it turns out to be only for sweepstakes entries.

Has anyone else randomly drawn an Invoke session that would begin a few minutes after the screening questions, as opposed to the normal 1-2 weeks in advance? The pay is much less - $5.00 - but you still have to participate for the full 60-90 mins.
Last night while plowing through the OTXs on Greenfield I got a 60 minute survey with a sweepstakes incentive. Knowing that this was really an Invoke screener, and that I would earn $20.00+ as an online focus group participant in the next 1 or 2 weeks, I began to answer the screener questions.
I started getting excited when I got the anticipated "Operating System" and "preferred internet Browser" questions, meaning I had qualified and Invoke wanted to make sure their application worked on my computer.
My elation turned to anger when the next screen said "congratulations! You have qualified to participate in an online focus group that will begin momentarily. An incentive of $5.00 will be awarded to you if you complete the 60 minute session.
$5.00? What happened to the minimun of $20.00?
A few months ago, when I was new to surveys, I received a similar offer and completed it.
I declined last night's offer because now I know that $5.00 for 60 minutes online is laughable. It also didn't help that I drew this Invoke screener right before family mealtime.
Did I get an impromptu Invoke screener because the client still had slots to fill? If so, that works opposite of what airlines do. I thought airlines charged more for last minute ticket purchases, not less!

I completed a survey like the one you bescrided on June 27. It was a Invoke "feedback session" that was about computers. I accessed the survey via a link on a email invite. I was rewarded with $15 after completing this 15 minute survey. I was redirected to a the invoke website after I completed the screener questions.
I don't really know a lot about the airline industry but I don't think market research has a lot in common with how airlines charge for last minute tickets. Anywho, always expect the unexpected from market research surveys since their will always be different needs for a specific study.

I'm just interested in knowing if people delete the Invoke plug-in's on their computer after finishing up a survey or if they leave the Invoke plug-in on their computer. I usually delete my plug-in after completing an Invoke survey. I have an Invoke scheduled for next week and i was just wondering if it was easier for to just have left it on the computer. I'd be interested in finding out what others do with the plug-in from Invoke after they have completed one of their surveys.

Yes I sure did, just today I did one just for the heck of it. I wanted to test my computer since I reinstalled my system to make sure it's up and running properly for the next paying Invoke I get. When I get done doing them, and I like doing them I mentioned it sure would of been nice to have received some kind of incentive also.
So far for Survey Spot I did (2) paying Invokes, other than that most of my Invokes come from GFO.

In my opinion it is worth to do Greenfield and SurveySpot surveys for sweepstakes. So far this year I did (10) Invokes. From Greenfield (6) Invokes - Lightspeed (1) Invoke - Opinion Place (2) Invokes & Survey Spot (1) Invoke. Plus from Survey Spot I received (15) full sized Test Products so that definitely makes it worth to do all or any surveys from them.:)

I had a similar experience with Invoke yesterday. It wouldn't let me download the plug-in for some strange reason. I have done several Invokes in the past and never had any problem before and my setting haven't changed at all. I'm thinking it might be a technical fault on their part and hopefully they can fix it soon...

I don't know yet. I know ITracks focus groups accept firefox.
Regarding IE8 Invoke experience: I successfully completed a 20 min Invoke session with it, but I did not view any commercial clips or story boards in the left-hand panel. My session was strictly answering questions in the right-hand panel. I don't know whether everything is totally operational, but I do know that I was able to enter and complete my session.
I just got an invite to a session next week, and the screener survey said IE6 or IE7 required - I hope I can login and complete it successfully. I've tried uninstalling IE8 and re-installing IE7 and cannot get it to work.:(

MY VIEW seems to have quirky problems with IE8, I have to fill out the sign on screen
twice, it won't accept it the first time. Also hyperlinks to dollar survey, require two clicks, you get a screen that says cant find sight, then it finds it on the second click.
The problems are annoying buggy things....not upgrade killers. Other surveys seem to bomb half way through...so I launch a second Mozzilla browser....
copy the URL over and continue.
IE8 works for me...actually as clunky as the reward process is with MY VIEW,
I think IE8.. may have done me a favor, I rarely Login there now. (LOL) :)
