Elite Opinions (http://www.eliteopinion.com/index.html) is probably a great survey site for billionaires, millionaires and CEOs, but I have never received or qualified for a single survey yet. It's a subsidiary of LightSpeed Research. Good luck! Some basic information in case you own IBM and would like to try your luck.

How do I register?

It takes less than 5 minutes to register. Just go to our Join Now (http://www.eliteopinion.com/register/join.html) page.

What are the rewards for joining?

When you register to become a Member of the ELITEOpinion panel, you are automatically entered into our $1500.00 quarterly drawing. Members are provided with opportunities to express their expert opinion in surveys to shape business decisions, earn ELITEOpinion Points and additional entries into the $1500.00 quarterly drawing for completed surveys and access to White Papers on topical business issues.

Is it free to join?

Yes, it is free to join! There is absolutely no charge for you to join, and there is no cost to you anytime after you join. You will never be asked to buy anything.

Why does it state that I am already a member when I try to register?

According to our records, the email address you entered is already registered with us. Please sign in to our website. (If you've forgotten your password, you can click on Forgot Your Password right on the Home page.) If you feel that someone else has registered with this email address, please contact support@eliteopinion.com.

I forgot my password. How do I find out what it is?

If you go to the Home page and click on "Forgot Your Password", you will be brought to the Forgot Your Password page. Just follow the simple instructions and your password will be emailed to the email address you provided during registration.

After I am invited to take a survey, how long do I have to complete it?

We close surveys after we have reached our quota of participants. Some surveys, because of a popular topic or great reward, close very quickly, while others stay open for quite a while. If you would really like to participate in a survey, we suggest you take it as soon as possible.

Who can register?

Residents of the U.S. who are at least 18 years old can join ELITEOpinion Panel

Will Lightspeed Research sell my e-mail address to anyone?

We will not sell your email address or any personally identifiable information to other organizations for solicitations or telemarketing.

What do I get for taking surveys?

Benefits page.

Where are my surveys located?

If you are eligible for any surveys, they will be found on your Members page.

What do you do with the results of your surveys?

We compile the results for our clients, who then use these results to make decisions about the products and services they offer. Corporations rely heavily on market research to make important decisions about new and existing products and services.

What is a Quick Match?

A Quick Match is made up of a few questions that are designed to help us "match" you up with future surveys. If there is a Quick Match for you to take, it can be found on your Members page under the heading "Today's opportunities to give us your thoughts and ideas."

Why did you invite me to a Quick Match I already completed?

We place the links to a new Quick Match on all of our panelists' Members pages at once. Next, we send email asking our panelists to complete the new Quick Match. Some panelists complete the Quick Match before they receive the email. You may be one of those people.

Because I could not copy and paste, I decided to put a picture instead of text.

Dear ELITEOpinion Panelist,

Thank you for your participation in the ELITEOpinion Panel this year. To provide you with additional Membership value, we will regularly deliver useful insights on how companies and Business Decision Makers are approaching the current business climate.

This month we have started our ELITEOpinion B2B Insight Surveys. These surveys will be conducted periodically throughout the coming year. Key insights from the survey results will be delivered to those that complete the surveys.

Look for the B2B Insight Survey now posted on your ELITEOpinion Panel Member page. Complete the survey and compare your responses to other Business Decision Makers around the country. We look forward to your participation in this and future B2B Insight Surveys.

We appreciate your continued ELITEOpinion Panel Membership and wish you a healthy and prosperous New Year!

Kind Regards,
ELITEOpinion Panel Manager

EliteOpinion Panel: Online Paid Survey Site Review
Survey Site Reviews January 2nd, 2009

A member sent me an email inquiring about EliteOpinion Panel. I had read a little something about it on our forum, but I did a little research on it and tried to join. A subsidiary of Lightspeed Research, this survey site is for those who make decisions about the products and services your company buys. During registration, you’ll be asked your level of personal involvement of the purchasing process for products and services at work. The options are:

Entire Organization

Entire Work Site or Division

Work Group

Department or Business Unit

Yourself

No Influence

I had to answer that I had no influence over purchasing, so I got the message to join Lightspeed Research instead. Apparently, unless you have some purchasing capacity at your job, there is no need to bother with this survey site, it will only waste your time.

If you do have some influence over purchasing at your company or workplace, they claim to pay you 1000 to 1500 Opinion Points per survey (valued at $10 to $15 per completed survey). Points can be redeemed for cash, merchandise or gift certificates.

Whether this is true or not, I just can’t tell you. Lee was able to join because he owns a small business, but he says that he hasn’t ever received or qualified for a survey. So please let us know if you have successfully joined and earned any money!
