The following are some frequently asked questions about membership in MarketSurveys.com. Should you have a question that is not addressed by these FAQ's, or a comment, you can always communicate to someone directly. Send your question to info@MarketSurveys.com or click on the Contact Us link, (http://www.marketsurveys.com/contact.phtml) which is found on the bottom of every page of the MarketSurveys.com site.
What is online market research ?
Online market research consists of surveys conducted over the Internet via the World Wide Web. You may be more familiar with surveys conducted over the phone or by surveyors at malls and other public places. The advantages of online research are many. You are not interrupted with unwanted phone calls at inopportune times. You are able to complete online surveys at your own convenience in the privacy of your own home or office. It's a very convenient and fun way to make your opinions count.
What is an online research panel?
An online research panel is a vast network of individuals who have agreed to share their opinions by taking surveys from time to time on the Internet. Unlike many surveys conducted over the Internet, exclusively for general interest or amusement, our surveys are designed to gather useful information on key issues of social, political and/or commercial importance. The preferences, ideas and opinions of a panel are important in the development of new and existing products and services.
Is there any cost at all?
There is no sign-up fee and your membership is FREE.
Why should I join?
Apart from making your opinion count, you may receive cash prizes, gift certificates or other awards occasionally given to panel members by our sponsors for participating in their surveys.
Can I see the results of surveys I have taken?
In some cases, survey results can be made available. You will be notified whenever the results of a survey you have taken are made available.
How do I know when there is a survey for me to do?
We will not send you endless streams of e-mail directing you to complete a survey. You will be notified initially about a newly posted survey with possibly an additional follow-up to ensure that you have the opportunity to participate before the survey period ends. The notification will give a brief description of the survey and exact steps to locate it.
How many surveys will I be asked to do?
The number of surveys offered will depend on a number of factors. Some of these factors include how active our sponsors are in posting surveys, your interests, demographics, etc. Not every panelist will be notified of every survey we are conducting. For example, we would not survey teens about their "grandchildren". Just remember, your participation is voluntary. You can elect not to participate in any survey that is not convenient for you to complete.
Do I have to do every survey I am invited to take?
Not at all! You are never obligated to complete a survey. All surveys are strictly voluntary. Your opinions are valuable however, and we think you'll find the process and topics of the surveys interesting and informative in themselves.
How much time do I have to complete a survey?
Each survey will be posted for different lengths of time but it is safe to expect a period of between three and seven days for most surveys. On occasion we may conduct overnight "flash polls" on current events. If you do happen to miss a survey, you will still be invited to take future surveys on the same or different subjects.
How long is each survey?
Survey length varies because of the wide variety of surveys possible and the differing data requirements of our clients. Many will take several minutes to complete while others will be more involved. We work hard to construct surveys, which are interesting and enjoyable. If you find a survey is simply too long, you may stop the survey at any time during the process.
What if I have questions about a survey?
First, we work very hard to provide all the information you may need to do each survey. And, you will find they are fun and easy to do. If you have a question about a survey, however, all you have to do is Email your question to info@MarketSurveys.com or click on the Contact Us link, which is found on the bottom of every page of the MarketSurveys.com site.
Do I need a password?
Some surveys require a password and some do not. If the survey you have been invited to participate in does require a password, it will be included right in the invitation. Once you complete the survey, the password will not work a second time. Most surveys do not require a password of any kind.
What if I want to cancel my membership and no longer receive surveys?
You are free to cancel your membership in MarketSurveys at any time. We certainly hope you will become an member of MarketSurveys for and enjoy our surveys. However, your participation is strictly voluntary.
How do I change my Email address or other personal information?
To keep receiving survey notices after an e-mail address change just click onto the Member's Section link located on any page of this site and then chose "Account Info". Once you are logged in with your username and password you can change any profile information you wish.
What do I do if my question is not answered in these FAQ's?
Send your question to info@MarketSurveys.com or click on the Contact Us link, which is found on the bottom of every page of the MarketSurveys.com site.

I have been sent several Test Spin surveys that have the Market Surveys logo. These surveys have the same background as the home page of Markey Surveys. Personally, I have never qualified for one of this surveys because when I click the link it always says "survey has been closed".

One thing that is unique about Market Survey is Survey Mojo Beta (http://mojo.marketsurveys.com/). That is a website that allows you to create your own surveys for free. I have never used this software, but here is some information about it.
Who are we?
We are regular people, just like you.
So maybe we know a bit more about Internet stuff, maybe not.
Do we have a survey fetish? I don't think so.
We just thought it would be fun to make a website where anyone can come and make their own surveys. Everyone has questions, maybe you want to know if people prefer backhoes or bulldozers. Or how many people think curling shouldn't be called a sport.
Well, you can get those questions answered here. If you want to know the square root of PI, you can find that elsewhere, but if you want to know who thinks PI is cool, you have come to the right place.
We just want you to take some surveys, make some surveys and maybe make so good use out of it all.
This site was made for you. If you have any suggestions or would like to see improvements, let us know.
Thanks,
The SurveyMojo Team.

MarketSurveys: Online Paid Survey Site Review
Survey Site Reviews June 8th, 2009
I wasn’t familiar with MarketSurveys until Eddie posted about it on our forum last summer. It was included under the thread “Surveys that Pay With Sweepstakes Entries” that I generally find to be about as much fun as watching paint dry. But my interest was piqued when I read the news that MarketSurveys had now added a Paypal feature. Would it be worth my time to give this one another shot?
The answer to this burning question would have to be “I don’t think so”. How’s that for a definitive answer? I joined this website last year but soon was discouraged because of its “sweepstakes only” nature. Rather than unsubscribe, I just quit opening most of the emails. I am a member of too many sites to waste my time on survey sites that don’t reward with cash.
I went back through all of the emails that I hadn’t opened, and from my perspective, even though they have added the Paypal or check feature, the vast majority of the emails I receive are still sweepstakes only payouts. And the few that I had gotten when I did open the emails I didn’t qualify for. From the website:
MarketSurveys Points are points that are awarded to you every time you respond to a survey invitation or complete a survey successfully. When you become a member of MarketSurveys.com you will have a virtual MarketSurveys account created for you. Every time you complete a survey you will be awarded a specific number of MarketSurveys Points.
Once you have saved up enough MarketSurveys Points to equal $10 or more, you can redeem those MarketSurveys Points for cash through PayPal™ or request to have a check mailed to the address you registered with. Please note, you will need to set up a PayPal™ account in order to redeem cash using this method.
Points convert at $0.10 per point.
When you reach at least 100 points, our system will give you cash out options on your Account Info page.”
Maybe some of you have had a better experience than I have and, if so, please let us know. So far, I don’t see much improvement.

these people are a joke. I did not realize when I signed up with them in June that their surveys would only pay from 10 cents to 80 cents. I have 32 points and have taken 10 surveys. Which equals to $3.20. Then I read where they would charge you 10% to pay by pay pal or check. There were no other options that I could see. What a rip off.
I would like to know if anyone else has any different feelings about this one!!
