I have earned $13 with Buzzback (http://www.buzzback.com/) and they are a very legitimate survey company that has my complete respect. Their surveys only come about once per month and pay from $3 to $10 and take from five to 20 minutes to complete. Here is some additional information about them.
About Us (http://www.buzzback.com/about-us)
Since April 2000, Buzzback Market Research, headquartered in New York, NY and now operating in Europe, has provided full service online market research solutions to our clients. At BuzzBack, we develop and implement new tools and technologies to provide fast, meaningful and actionable insights via more efficient and engaging consumer experiences.
Buzzback Panel (http://www.buzzback.com/panel)
Our panel is our secret weapon—it's how we bring our clients closer to consumers. Our dynamic database of over 650,000 respondents allows us to conduct most studies quickly and efficiently – even overnight. In addition, we‘ve built custom proprietary panels for clients who want spontaneous access to key customer groups or difficult-to-reach targets. We can also work with your registered consumer list, and/or recruit from your web site. We adhere to standard research practices established by CASRO, the ARF, ESOMAR and the AMA.
The following BuzzBack tenets help us make the quality and integrity of our sample second to none and have earned us our strong reputation for creatively and consistently delivering high quality and often hard-to-reach targets.
BuzzBack can pull sample from our panel to match a variety of requirements, including U.S. census representativeness. Typically, clients have such specific and targeted usage and psychographic requirements that U.S. census matching is unnecessarily beyond the pale of project requirements, especially as the effort has associated cost implications.
BuzzBack's respondent panel is organically grown, sourced from both traditional and non-traditional sample suppliers. Non-traditional suppliers include general and targeted double opt-in permission marketing lists, client CRM databases, and client websites. All panelists have agreed to participate in the BuzzBack panel.
Our panel has grown through the course of work and projects commissioned by clients; however, natural attrition is aggressively managed (via unsubscribe requests, frequent email address changes and repeated non-response to survey invitations). Additionally, basic profile details are updated annually (and available for manual update at any time).
For all client studies, BuzzBack locks out respondents who have participated in previous studies on a 30-day basis, and deploys category exclusivity for about 6 months. We do not market our panel to other research companies or to other marketing partners (unless by specific client request).

Yesterday Buzzback sent me a paid survey that I qualified for. The survey only last 20 minutes and it paid $5. This is only the three paid survey invite I receive from them ever since I joined their panel. Hopefully this will lead to more survey invites. Only time will tell.

Since your new to Buzzback, fill out the information below "1st Time Survey Respondents". You'll get a check in about a week or so. There is no way to track surveys or payments on their website.

If it's any comfort to you, ACOP also does not track surveys or payments for you as well as a few other companies.

Yes - I just received my 1st $5 payment from them by check. I had emailed them about it and they told me it can take between 8-12 wks after the study closed to receive payment. It took mine Exactly 12 wks to receive it... Another thing when the check came in the mail - I had no idea from where it came from, and knowing that Buzzback still owed me, I pretty much figured it was from them...

I have completed and qualified for 3 Buzzback surveys. I received my first check from them on October 9 and I think this reward is for the survey I completed on 7/1 but I hope it is not the reward for the survey I completed on 8/27 because that would mean their reward processing system is messed up.
By the way, the letter I received for them had "Buzzback LLC" and their address on the left so it was I knew it was from them.

Ok Eddie, Then I know for sure that wasn't the check I received from Buzzback...
Then I still have (2) Pending:
8/14/08 - $5
10/27/08 - $3
This is kind of crazy - the long wait for receiving those checks.

It's not that I'm worrying about it - it's my way of keeping track. Believe me if I wouldn't keep track, there's been times when they have slipped up and not paid me. After I sent an email to them letting them know, they apologized for the slip-up and I then received my money for doing the survey. I'm not saying it was from Buzzback but from other survey sites, and for me it's not a big deal keeping a good record of my surveys. I guess I just have a little more time on my hands than most. ;)

Seconded. SurveySpot overlooked $43 worth of surveys I completed since August and they are now crediting my account after I emailed them. I will also be happy when I cash that check. It happens all the time and they count on people taking surveys to not keep trrack. Some survey companies never credit you for surveys that you have completed no matter how many times you email them.

I just received a $5 check from BuzzBack for a survey that I took on August 29, 2008. Now I am witing on two more $3 checks from September 28, 2008 and October 20, 2008. Needless to say, the time from August 29 until December 29 is a bit longer than 10-12 weeks, unless the survey took a month to close. At least they paid eventually.

Thank you for answering our short survey on information about PayPal.
Next week we will be starting the process of paying you through PayPal and since you indicated you already have a PayPal account, please ensure your BuzzBack email address is listed under your main account (you can list up to 7 email addresses), that way we can insure you receive your cash to your main account. Once we have transferred the cash to your account PayPal will notify you!
Some information about PayPal:
** Recipents of payments through PayPal can electronically transfer their money to a checking account, send money to friends, or shop online.
** No more paper checks, no more depositing checks at the bank.
** Faster and safer for the environment.

Hi Lee,
I am very sorry about this, we processed payments for those 2 surveys you took in September and October and somehow your check did not go out. Would you be at all interested in receiving these payments through PayPal? We are looking to move toward PayPal as payment for our studies since it will be a faster and easier process for everyone involved. Please let me know if this is something that interests you as a way to resolve this problem.
Thank you, and again we are sorry for the delay
--The BuzzBack Team
LapisLee: No problem. Please send payment to my PayPal account.
One last thing. When we pull lists of people to send payment, we pull from our database of survey respondents so it will go to whatever email you registered with BuzzBack. The good news is PayPal allows you to add more than one email address to your account. So if you could add this email to your PayPal account, it would ensure that you can get this payment and future payments for BuzzBack surveys. Thank you for your cooperation, please let me know when you have added this email to your account.
Thanks!

LapisLee: I can change my current email address that I use for survey invitations to my PayPal email address, but there is no option for adding an additional email account. Is that what you would like for me to do? I don't check the paypal email as often as this one.
Ok, I see this has changed. Thanks a lot. I have added your name to our list of people to pay. We are currently setting up our bank account with PayPal so we can get this new payment method going, It will happen sometime next week.
Thanks again,
