i personally prefer e-rewards because they sens a LOT of surveys. i don't always qualify, but their compensation is fair for the time expected. i also like viewpoints, too. there is always something there for everyone. i did one survey for e-rewards that paid me $25.00, for which i got an american eagle gift card.

I really like opinion place. It reminds me alot of Pinecone. Although with Pinecone, once you get an invite, you have automatically qualified and receive payment the following day.. with opinion place, they let you know fairly quickly if you qualify. Once you do, they tell you exactly how much you will receive for the survey and you don't have to worry about not quualifying after they've found a survey for you. They also pay quickly by paypal which is always a plus. You have to wait a week to take another survey if you qualified in order to take another; 3 days if you didn't. I get alot of special invitations for much higher paying surveys and for invokes solutions. I really enjoy opinion place and highly recommend it.

Buzzback would be the best except that I already take surveys with its twin sister site: Surveyhead.

I have cashed out quite a few times with Viewpoint, but the surveys are few and far between.

OpinionPlace gives me a steady flow of $1-2 to my PayPal account, but not quite enough for me to track, I’m certain it’s less than $30 per year for me.

Surveys.com used to just as good as Opinion Place, but lately they send more sweepstakes entries diluting their earning potential.

ClearVoice is good for about $10 every three or four months, but only in Amazon gift cards.

Brand Institute has so much promise, but I rarely qualify for their medical themed surveys.

e-Rewards stopped sending my surveys about a year ago after I cashed out for every magazine subscription, used video and video rental they had. I don’t need airline frequent flyer miles.

FocusForward takes way too long to cash out now that they raised their minimum to $20. I doubt I can do it in less than a year.

I have to access Survey Exchange from my PayPal email account so I don’t do many surveys there.

I have never been a member of TestSpin so I have no idea what’s up with that site.

I would recommend Clear Voice, Opinion Place and Surveys.com (GfK). All of these are are good and better than the other options like brand institute or Survey Exchange. I recently joined e-rewards and so far they are sending penty of surveys. I like how they sent 20 minutes surveys that are worth $5. That is very rare!

I like Daily Survey Panel, Pinecone, Datatelligence, Opinion Place, Opinion Outpost, Survey Spot, My Survey, and Erewards. Haven't had any problems with these (other than taking a long time to reach pay out with Survey Spot) and have cashed out and/or received survey incentives at least once with all of them. I like Amazon Mechanical Turks. It is not a survey company, but short surveys from universities are usually available to do and can be interesting.

Places I haven't cashed out with but seem good so far are ClearVoice, Toluna, Ipsos-Isay, Surveyhead, QuickRewards, Fusion Cash (I've been lazy about doing offers with them lately, but they seem to be a good company), Valued Opinions, My View Surveys, and NPDOR.

Many thanks to those who encouraged me to stick with Survey Spot. :) Since cashing out, I've been getting better survey opportunities and more points surveys. I received an opportunity to do a $200.00 telephone interview a few days ago. Unfortunately I did not qualify, but I was pleasantly surprised to even receive that sort of opportunity from Survey Spot.

Places I'm on the fence about:

Global Test Market (seem to dq from almost all of their surveys)
Valued Opinions (Dq a lot, but I am getting some $)
Survey Savvy (DQ alot)
Mindfield (DQ always--maybe I'm not on the fence about them, LOL! ;) )
Focus Forward (never qualify for their focus groups/telephone interviews. My demographics must not be focus group friendly)
Cash Crate

I am researching Canadain survey sites. Anyone out there Canadain? I am writing up all my research in a blog format as I found there was very little information on surveys for Canada. So far I think Survey Head will pay out best. I don't love all the points ones. Any suggestions on ones to try? www.surveycanada.blogspot.com :):)

You are probably already aware of this, but I think that survey sites such as Toluna also have Canadian versions.

Edited to add: I looked at your blog, and it looks good. :)

If ClearVoice is really the best survey on that list in the poll above, the others must really be lame!

Looks like Opinion Place and Viewpoint have pulled into a neck-to-neck tie with ClearVoice. That's more like it!
