Its seems after I go thru most surveys they say I am not eligible. I think it has to do with my age. Does anyone find that to be true. I am a senior.
thanks

Yes. I am in my 40's and sometime after I put my age I am disqualified. Not all of them are like this however.

i, too, have found that as soon as i enter my age, i am disqualified. however, the older you are, the more experience you have and the wiser you've become, i think.

I agree with the experience. We also know though that the world is unfair.

For most surveys an age of 18-49 is preferred, but even if you are 50 to 64 you will still receive quite a few invitations. I am 51 and have been doing quite well. After age 65 and certainly after age 70, they are no longer interested in what you might buy, because you are probably too old to change your mind anyway.:p

I am not so sure about that . Although life is unfair, the world is constantly changing and so are view involving older people. I know lots of senior that can run rings around me and can use a computer like no bodys business. I would not be so quick to throw them away as we are all heading in the same direction. You can change your mind at anytime and you can be stuck on something at any age. If anything you have to stay positive. It helps and opinions of older people do count . Look at the presidental election.

I disagree that the survey sites are looking for members 18-49 years ols. I have been doing survey since 2005 and have noticed a shift. I think the targe market is probably 18-35 years old. Once I put in 49 years old I'm disqualified for many surveys. I have a degree in Marketing which is probably as valuable as a 49 years old's opinion on a new PDA.
However, isn't there a survey site whose "contact" is Carol Adams and the surveys are mostly "homemaker" items such as cleaning products as opposed to say cell phones. I qualify for a fair number of their surveys but find the reward system dissatisfactory. I have pretty much stopped taking their surveys so I'll look at the site again regarding the reward system and accept some current invitations to see if my overall opinion about the site has changed.
Also, I'm frustrated by the recent rash of Auto Surveys. My household has two cars that were purchased new but both are almost 10 years old now. I have spent up to 15 minutes on an Auto Survey before I'm notified that I don't qualify. The same seems to be true with financial services. I answer a lot of questions before I'm disqualified. I can understand being disqualified but the extent of information some of the sites are requiring before letting me know I'm disqualified isn't fair.

I'm 54 and for example at surveyhead at the dashboard & they have 15 surveys they said the percentage of 50%
and up to be qualified I might get 2.
I agree that the older you get the more experience and more wisdom comes.
So i don't know if age becomes an issue or not but have been wondering about that for a while.
I'm registered to amny survey sites for about 7 yrs. The older I get the less invites I get.
