Here is a rather large list of alphabetized sites that you may want to think twice before joining.

In order for a survey company to land on DontWasteYourTimeOnline.com's Survey Company Blacklist, they must have proven themselves over and over again to be a huge waste of your time, your money, or both! If you run across a survey company, and you are not sure if it's legit, or worth your time, look over our huge list to see if it's been blacklisted.

Survey Company Blacklist (http://www.dontwasteyourtimeonline.com/Survey_Company_Blacklist.htm)

1, 2, 3...

123opinions.com - A big waste of your time. They are well known, yet when you do a survey for them, they only ask you to sign up for something else you don't want.

A

AMPSurveys.com (http://www.yourfreesurveys.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10) - Upon signup, you will see that your email address is optional. You will, however, have to provide it to be notified if you win something. We believe that will NEVER happen. As soon as we clicked the submit button, we were taken to an OTX survey. What a waste of time! There was no 'thank you for signing up' page or anything. Just a rude shove into another long and boring, and probably fruitless, OTX survey.

Australia Survey Panel.com - Another company that gets paid when YOU sign up, and you get nothing.

AWSurveys (http://www.yourfreesurveys.com/forum/showthread.php?t=79) - We've been reading up on this company, and after doing several searches to see if AWSurveys is a big waste of your time, we've come to the conclusion that they are. There is a huge amount of people who have said they have not gotten paid, they can't reach the payout limit, the company won't email them back, etc. Lots of reports that they are a big scam. So we think it's best we Blacklist them, until proven otherwise.

B

BeginSurvey Inc. - We have not received a single survey or any email correspondance with this company for years now, although they are still taking applications. When we reviewed their website again recently, we noticed that they supported other survey companies we cannot recommend, such as that ubiquitous Coke VS Pepsi survey site, which claims they will give you $10 for that survey. Don't fall for it.

Best Cash Jobs.com - Another site with an access fee of $47 or $50 for that list of survey companies.

bestfocusgroups.com - Another site that wants to charge you $25 for a list of survey companies.

Biz Opp Junction.com - Another site that asks you to pay to get their list of survey companies.

Bolt.com - Do you remember doing surveys for Bolt? And getting the occassional freebie? Well, they have closed down. Please be advised that the operations of Bolt, Inc. and Bolt.com have ceased. Net Revolution, Inc. and Bolt, Inc. have executed an Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors effective as of August 14, 2007.

C

Canada Survey Panel.com - They send you survey companies to join so they get paid off of your signup. You get nothing.

Cash For Surveys.com - WARNING! They ask that you register for a free account (so you can get spammed) and that you visit their sponsors. Those sponsors are companies that we advise you to stay away from.

Cash-Tree.com - They will send you to other sites that want to charge you access fees. Consumer

CD Money Machine.com - They charge a whopping access fee of $67.00! The money machine is working, for the site owner, not you!

Consumer Product Research.com -They are charging access fees of $19.95 for a list of survey companies, many that are already listed in our Earn Rewards section.

Consumer Survey Networks.com - The following info was gently lifted from another reputable website that discusses survey company information: SITE WILL CHARGE YOU $97 CURRENTLY - FOR THEIR TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE - You are not buying the source code or database tables that create My Cool Little Website. You are purchasing a dynamically generated website that is hosted by us and embedded with your affiliate IDs and 90% of their info is not legit.

Consumer Survey Panel.com - A big waste of time. You will only get spam, no money.

Consumer Test Group.com - You sign up, you get spammed. Don't bother.

Cyber Analytics - We do not know what happened to Cyber Analytics, but they are not a survey company anymore. We have put their link here in case anyone was looking for intormation on them. *NOTE: We have heard that they merged with Your2Cents, so we are going to email them to ask about it. We'll let you know what they say!

Cyberdialogue - A survey company that does not have a sign up link.

D

Data Entry Pro.com - Access fee of $49.99. Don't bother.

Desktop Innovation - This survey company is no longer a survey company, but is a search engine now.

Dollar Frog.com - Another site that wants you to pay for the list of survey companies we already provide for free.

Dollar Grants.com - Another company with another signup fee. This time, $24.95 to get info on available government and private grants. This info you can find for absolutely free by searching the Internet. Don't pay for public information!

Dynamic Logic - They are a survey company, but there is no sign up link.

E

Easy-Paid-Surveys.com - Yet another company with a signup fee, this time it's $34.95 for a list of survey companies.

Easy Rewards.com.au - Out of Australia. You have to sign up for tons of offers jus to try to get some gift that you'll probably never see. What you will see is a lot of spam in your inbox.

Easy Student Work.com - Sounds like a good website for college students to visit to learn where they can earn a little extra cash, right? Well, don't bother. They want you to pay them for a list of survey companies, like the ones we offer in our EARN REWARDS section.

ECN Research (http://www.yourfreesurveys.com/forum/showthread.php?t=52) - They offer tons of pages of signups that redirected us to other sites, where we were forced to click "YES" in order to qualify. A huge waste of our time, and yours!

Einsights - The domain is now for sale.

eMarketPanel.com - Tons of offers you must comply with to get the 'free' offer. A big waste of your time. Don't give them you credit card number unless you are feeling lucky.

e-MarketsResearch.com - Just like eMarketPanel, lots of offers to sign up for. Pages of them.

Encinitasca.org - A site that redirects you to PaidSurveysOnline.com. Encinitasca is charging an access fee of $34.95 for a list of survey companies. Very deceptive.

eWorldResearch - A search engine disguised as a Entertainment Resource. NOT a place to find surveys!

Express Paid Surveys.com - Another company wanting you to pay for a list of surveys companies.

Eye Cloud.com - They send you emails to sign up for companies in which they get paid if you do instead of sending you surveys. You will get spammed. Beware.

F

FocusWorld - we have never heard of anyone receiving a single survey from them.

Franklin Surveys.com - A well known company, but believe us, a big waste of your time. Memolink tries to get you to sign up for this one. Many pages of offers to sign up for and to comply with.

Freebie People.com - Save yourself the trouble after you read their TOS --- PERMISSION SURVEYS TO BE SPAMMED. The 'gifts' are not really free, as you have to sign up with one of their sponsors offers, which are NOT free.

Free Pay.com - Another huge waste of your time.

Free Paying Surveys.com - They charge an access fee of $34.95 for that list of survey companies.

Fusion Cash.net - A well known site, you all the offers you complete earn them tons of money, and little for you. Not worth your time.

G

GBinc. - This defunct survey site is now for sale.

Genuine Survey Jobs.com - This site has gotten a lot of negative reviews by other website owners claiming that GSJ stole their links and got paid for them! BEWARE! We do not promote fraudulent websites on DontWasteYourTimeOnline.com!

Get Cash For Surveys.com - Another website that asks you to pay their access fee for that list of survey companies.

Get Paid2.com - They are charging an access fee of $37.95. They are making money off of you. Not the other way around.

Get Cash For Surveys.com - Pay them and they'll give you a list of survey companies that we already provide you for free in our Earn Rewards section of this website.

Get Paid For Photos.com - A whopping access fee of $47.00 for a list of survey companies.

Get Paid To Surveys.com - Another access fee of $34.95. Big waste of your money and time.

Get Paid To Try.com - A company that persuades you to sign up for many things you don't want in order to get paid. A big waste of time.

Global Survey Group.com - They expect you to sign up for survey companies, and other fraud sites, so that they will get paid, NOT you.

Go Paid Surveys.com - They want you pay them $49.95 for their list of companies, which we provide to you for free.

Grant-Sources.com - They have a signup fee of $39.95. Don't bother.

GreenHorse.com - No info.

(Continued from above)

H

Handbag Test Panel - They claim you can get a free designer handbag, but you have to go through pages and pages of offers only to find at the end that they want you to COMPLETE an offer, and this means spending your money, and then who knows how many offers after that one you have to complete. We quit midway through the registration process. We're not gonna spend our hard earned cash on this scam!

Hartford Opinion Group.com - If you read the terms carefully you will see... To receive the free incentive gift you must: 1) register with valid information; 2) complete theuser survey; and 3) complete 3 sponsor offers. Please read participation requirements for details. Upon completion of all requirements, we will ship the incentive gift to you with free shipping. Complete at your discretion.

Home Typers.com - Another company with a $49.99 signup fee.

HyperSurvey - NOT a survey website, it's a search engine.

I

Interactive Opinions.com.au - Another company out of Austrailia that requires you to sign up for their costly offers. No idea why all of these companies out of Austrailia are so bad.

Incentive Reward Center.com - Another company that wants you to sign up for page after page of offers. A big waste of your time!

i-netvalues.com/optIn.htm - You'll only get spammed, and no surveys from them!

Internet Opinion Group.com - Many, many pages of offers they want you to sign up for. Another huge waste of your time.

Internet Survey Group.com - You'll only get spammed heavily.

Its Your Opinion.com - Beware. Read their TOS to see what they are up to. It's not worth your time.

Its Yours Now.net - The only thing that is yours is the spam you'll get. They make the money on your signups and you get nothing but spam.

K

Kelly Research - Now defunct and up for sale. You'll get popups if you click their link. Don't bother!

L

Low Risk Incomes.com - They offer info on making money online and offline, but that info is gonna cost you. Don't bother with them.

Matrix Reward.com - More waste of your time. Don't bother. All they want is for you to spend your money.

Paid For Free.com - They are asking you to pay their access fee of $34.95.

S

Secret Mystery Shopping.com - They charge an access fee of $37.97.

Secret Web Shopper.com - BEWARE! Their TOS say this: DISCLAIMER FOR HARM CAUSED TO YOUR COMPUTER OR SOFTWARE FROM INTERACTING WITH THIS WEBSITE OR ITS CONTENTS. VISITOR ASSUMES ALL RISK OF VIRUSES, WORMS , OR OTHER CORRUPTING FACTORS.

Shadow Shopper.com - Another pay to get the list site. You won't have any money to shop with if you fall for their signup! They have a HUGE access fee of $99.99!

Shoppers Voice - You'll get a lot of snail mail surveys from them. Also, surveys online. A fun company, but the incentives are not that big. We've reluctantly put them on our Blacklist, because they just aren't worth our time. They might be worth the bother to some of you, but really, you won't get much out of this in the end.

Shopping Jobs Here.com - They offer you info about mystery shopping companies. Never pay for this information, which you can easily research online, for FREE! Mystery shopping is NOT that big of a secret!

Silent Sales Machine.com - They have an access fee of $29.97.

Site Review Authority.org - They are the authority of BS!

Sondages - now known as BBM Canada. They send you survey companies to join so they get paid off of your signup you. You get nothing.

STSRewards - Under Construction

Student-Surveys.org - Another site that sounds student-friendly, but is misleading. They want you to pay for for that list of survey companies, many of which we provide on our EARN REWARDS section!

Survey Annex.com - Another company that wants you to pay for a list of other survey companies.

Survey Complete.com - When you go to their panel it redirects you to Greenfield Online, and they get paid if you join.

Survey Club - Nothing more than a newsletter and they try to persuage you to sign up with many of the companies we've listed on our blacklist.

Survey Exchange - Now, the people of OTX run this site. It landed on our blacklist because we have not heard any good reports from people about it, only complaints. It takes 4,500 points just to get a $5 reward and it takes forever to get those points. Reports are very high of people getting disqualified near the end of very lengthy surveys. You may get an average of 5 - 8 surveys a month. So in our opinion, because they require you to spend a very long and frustrating time just trying to get that $5 reward, that is enough for them to land here on our Survey Company Blacklist. Until they straighten up, they shall remain here, blacklisted.

Survey Explosion - They will try to persuade you to sign up for offers where THEY will earn money, not you.

Survey Income System.com - Another pay to access site. Charge of $34.95.

Survey Lion.com - You will NEVER get a survey from them - they are a phishing company. BEWARE!

Surveylot.com - More outrageous access fees and more unwanted offers for you to sign up for.

Survey Millions.com - They persuade you to join another company just so you can get their surveys. Not worth it! After clicking through their many signup pages, you get to the last one only to have it say you MUST choose "YES" to continue. NOT worth it!

Survey Mission - Another site that wants you to pay for a list of survey companies that you can find on our EARN REWARDS page.

Survey Monster.net - Their name says it all. This site IS a monster. Read the fine print of their TOS!

Survey.net - A forum which is their paid search portal. They get paid when you search.

Survey New.com - Another site that only wants YOU to pay THEM.

Survey Networks.com - You'll only get spam, and tons offers that you are pressured to sign up for.

Survey Pass - They want to charge you money to access their database.

Survey Payday - Get spammed here.

Survey Payoff.com - You'll get nothing but spam.

Survey Peace.com - They have a $19.95 fee to gain access to their survey company list.

Survey-Platinum.com - Another site that wants you to pay to access their survey company list.

Survey Princess - Another company that wants you to pay for a list of survey companies.

Survey Rewards.com - You'll only get spammed if you sign up with them.

Survey Scout.com - They will charge you a fee to get a list of survey companies.

Survey Sponsors.com - They have 30 different sites that all earn them money, NOT you.

Survey Storage.com - They only want you to pay for that list of survey companies, many of which are already listed on our growing EARN REWARDS page.

Survey Strategy - They will persuade you to sign up for 3 offers that earn them LOADS of money while you are a member with those 3 companies. You get nothing.

Survey Sun.com - This is another site like SurveyScout - they expect you to pay for a list of survey companies.

Surveys Paid.com - Another company that wants to charge you to access their database.

Survey Team - Another company that is making loads off of your signups. Not worth your time.

T

The Consumer Beat.com - A HUGE waste of your time. Don't bother! Page after page after page of signups.

The Global Survey Panel.com - You'll only provide them with your info, and they provide you with spam.

The Prize Panel.com - Another company you will not find much luck with because they are a scam too. They want you to join other panels so they get paid, while you don't, and you will hardly ever get any surveys from them.

The Rich Jerk.com - Do you even want to consider doing business with a website that has a name like that?

The Survey Pro.com - You won't get any surveys from them. They will send you to sign up for offers that will only spam you. If you see "clickbank" in the title line, you can count on them trying to charge you.

The Ultimate Rewards.com - This is NOT a survey site. It is a site where if you meet the eligibility requirements (which means if you complete an offer and pay with your credit card) you will get the 'prize,' which surely isn't worth your time or money.

ThinkRewards.com - a search engine now. Don't bother.

Tiktikcash - If you are dilligent, you might make a little change here. But singing up for their offers earns them a 90% higher payout for them, and not you! A big waste of time.

Top Dollar Surveys.com - They have an access fee of $34.95.

Top Online Surveys.com - Here again, they want you to pay for the list of survey sites we give you for free on our EARN REWARDS page.

Top Site Ratings.com- Access fee of $34.95.

Trialsize.com - Does not exist any longer.

tspromotions.com - If you run across this URL, it is for a contest, but believe us, all you'll win is a load of spam!

Type-at-Home.com - They have an access fee of $49.00 for that list of survey companies.

Type International.com - All of the sites they list you have to pay to join. A big gimmick. The Survey Pro.com - You won't get any surveys from them. They will send you to sign up for offers that will only spam you. If you see "clickbank" in the title line, you can count on them trying to charge you.

U

Usa Brand Survey.com - Waste a lot of your time completing their offers. Get little.

Usefull Signups.com - Not only do they spell 'useful' incorrectly, they get all the money for your signups. BEWARE!

V

Vindale Research (http://www.yourfreesurveys.com/forum/showthread.php?p=628#post628) - Not many surveys coming your way. We have heard bad reports about this company using sneaky tactics to get you to sign up, mostly a phishing site. If you have some better feedback from this company, please let us know!

Viva Research (http://www.yourfreesurveys.com/forum/showthread.php?p=627#post627) - As a member you won't be eligible for cash incentives by only completing their surveys. Signing up for the offers advertised by their partners is necessary in order to be eligible for cash incentives. Taken from their TOS. You have to wade through page after page of signup offers on their signup process, what we here at DWYTO consider a big waste of time!

W

Weekly Cash Income.com - They want to charge you to access their survey company list.

Whats He Has To Say.com - You have to agree to receive their spam should you decide to join. Don't bother!

Whats Your Opinion.net - You will get tons of spam. No one we know of has received any surveys or payouts from them.

Y

Your Opinion Pays.Org - You have to pay them access their list of survey companies, many of which are already listed on our growing EARN REWARDS page.

Z

Zoom Direct - Here again, another phishing website. Once you register, they ask if your PC is protected from viruses, and they want you to download some A/V software. We have never received any surveys from this company, nor have we read of anyone doing any of them either. A big waste of time! This company is NOT part of the Zoom Panel network!

Survey Club - Nothing more than a newsletter and they try to persuage you to sign up with many of the companies we've listed on our blacklist.

Lee, I DISAGREE with you on this one. Survey Club is a legitimate panel that has a LOT of things in common with YourFreeSurveys. They both are websites that are basically paid to try and recommend some legitimate survey panels. They both have a blog with the purpose of informing their members of the good and bad survey sites, but the survey club blog is no where as popular as the Your Free Surveys blog.

I know Survey Club is a legitimate website because I have earned $2 for a survey. That is enough for me to know they are for real.

I can't understand why InboxDollars is on this blacklist. I like this site and have never had a problem with them or receiving payments from them.

I can't understand why InboxDollars is on this blacklist. I like this site and have never had a problem with them or receiving payments from them.
I had the exact same question. Here is what Annika says:

"PTR E-MAIL- MULTI-NATIONAL - EARN $ FOR E-MAIL - SURVEYS - GAMES - REFERRALS AND MORE - You MUST complete offers to get paid!"

That is clearly not the case. InboxDollars, along with Greenfield Online's other affiliate, SendEarnings, are perfectly legitimate Paid To read/Paid Survey companies that DO NOT require you to sign up for offers in order to be paid. I should know, I have received checks from both.

Actually, you are disagreeing with DontWasteYourTimeOnline.com's Survey Company Blacklist. I suggest you review that site so we can get more detailed information on them if you think they are worthwhile.

Well Survey Club is not really worthwhile because they are ultimately a offer site like YourFreeSurveys. But unlike Surver Club, YFS offers real surveys from OTX and the Greenfield owned GiveUsFor2Cents. They do have a top 25 list that has some legitimate websites like Survey Spot. I have seen this list since 2006 but I NEVER clicked on the links because I didn't know everything I know now.

These lists are just guidelines, but I think we both can agree that 95% of the companies listed should be avoided and the other 5% ain't that great.

I agree with that point. I think 99% should be avoided and the other 1% aren't that good.

I did not make that list. I just posted a few examples from the list and posted the link to it. I agree that InboxDollars should not be Blacklisted.

Yes Inbox dollars should not have been blacklisted. But i was surprised to see treasure trooper blacklisted. That is simply ridiculous since it is a legit offer site, and does pay well, through paypal.

Also you get fast replies to any problems you might have, from the Admin, which is really good for any site. I had contacted the admin previously regarding some offers, and i did get a timely response which did solve my problem. The only other site that provides such good service is Your free surveys.

I think these people should really do some research before blacklisting any site.

Also you get fast replies to any problems you might have, from the Admin, which is really good for any site. I had contacted the admin previously regarding some offers, and i did get a timely response which did solve my problem. The only other site that provides such good service is Your free surveys. I think these people should really do some research before blacklisting any site.
Annika is just one person and her list is just one person's opinion. As we all know, different people have different experiences with different survey sites. Also, different people have different preferences. For example, I am not a fan of either sweepstakes, such as NPDOR, or offer sites, such as Treasure Trooper; however, many people are fans of both of these sites. That is why we try to present objective information here from all sides so everyone can make up their own minds and post their results and reasons why they like various sites.

Didn't see SnapDollars listed and maybe its just me but they claim that their members do not have to sign up for any offers at all. But in the payment section it clearly states that you will not be paid unless at least $15 of your earnings are from offers. Now if that doesn't require you to sign up for offers I don't know what does. Sent them a message concerning this...shall we say slight conflict which so far I have not had a reply to. Also they are supposed to give you a Sign Up Bonus of $5 which to date still is not credited to my account on their site.

I only wish I'd seen this forum months ago when I started delving into the survey for money world! I've been a member of my points and my survey for ages, and I used to be a member of Pinecone about 10 years ago, but somehow fell off their list and haven't been able to get back on it, despite filling out several applications. Anyway.....

I've gotten signed up for a number of these sites, which I came to realize (thankfully before it cost me any money) that they stink. I've been reticent to attempt unsubscribing because I've just figured they'd keep spamming me anyway. Has anyone had success/failure at breaking free from these icky spam infested creeps or should I just be happy that google has good spam filters?

Thanks for your help.:)

I can't say anything good about inbox. I was a member since dec last year and never received anything. I clicked over 300 ads and never made the 30 dollars. I am sticking with it only to find out if I will get up to the 30 dollars by sometime next year. They never even let me take the surveys.

You receive $0.02 for every click which only amounts to about $1 to $2 per month. In order to do surveys you must go to their website and click on Cash Surveys (http://www.inboxdollars.com).

The only site on this list that I have heard anyone say anything good about is Fusion Cash and I think maplaver is the one that likes them.

H

We quit midway through the registration process. We're not gonna spend our hard earned cash on this scam!

Hartford Opinion Group.com - If you read the terms carefully you will see... To receive the free incentive gift you must: 1) register with valid information; 2) complete theuser survey; and 3) complete 3 sponsor offers. Please read participation requirements for details. L

Low Risk Incomes.com - They offer info on making money online and offline, but that info is gonna cost you. Don't bother with them.

M

Mailbox-Dollars.com - You'll spend a huge amount of time here filling out their offers and earning them TONS of money, while you get pennies. Not worth the time or effort.

Market Profiles - You'll get spammed if you sign up. Market Profiles is a full-service research company that surveys members of our online panel about the web sites that they visit and sells the results to web site marketers through affiliates and directly through our online store.

MBS Internet.net - BEWARE. We have never received any surveys from them. Spam is all you'll get.

Paid For Free.com - They are asking you to pay their access fee of $34.95.

Paid Marketing Panel.aavalue.com - AKA as PMP. They claim to pay $100 to you for you logging in 90 days and for clicking "No Thanks" to all of their signup pages. Shadow Shopper.com

I signed up with these guys after seeing many ad e-mails to go. They must have dropped their price because a silver membership cost either $2.99 or $3.99 per month. They cannot make up their mind.

Might be worth the investment to get info on the REAL shopper clients. Once they have you in their list as a good shopper, they would contact you directly.

there are other sites offering the same things they offer but for FREE!

(continued)

The only two on here I ever cashed out from were Survey Exchange, which is just a middleman for all of the good survey companies that we recommend on this forum, and Tik Tik Cash which is an offers-only site that has a $100 pay out that takes 'up to 90 Working Days' to receive your money via PayPal. I finally received $100.06 after four months and unsubcribed.

this list has most of the sites i figured out were worthless. i had one rule when i started, never pay for anything. that kept me out of a lot of trouble.

You should be careful of Annika's list. She blacklists all sites that compete with her. She blacklists sites that are paid survey directories as "get paid to" sites because they get paid when their users join survey panels. Even sites that only list legitimate survey panels.

The rules of her own blacklist would cause her own site to be blacklisted. I'm surprised this site is not blacklisted. She has many survey panels on her site and also has lots of bad sites on her blacklist, but I don't think her site should be considered an authority because she find her competition and blacklists them.

You make an excellent point; although, the black list posted above and at the beginning of this thread is from DontWasteYourTimeOnline.com's Survey Company Blacklist. Could you review it and let us know if you find any good survey sites listed there? I would argue that InboxDollars/SendEarnings should not be blacklisted.

Hey everyone, I'm new to this forum and fairly new to the survey game. I was just wondering about these black lists: if the site charges you for membership, are the surveys higher paying? or do you get more survey invites? whats the deal with these pay sites?

No, I've found that those sites that charge you money for membership have exactly the same list of surveys sites that you will find at other survey sites for free. The problem is that you don't know that until you've already paid them. Heath
