I joined e-Rewards on October 26, 2008 and easily earned $81.60. When I went to redeem my e-Dollars I found that the prizes were not that great.
First I redeemed $25 for two previously viewed DVDs from Blockbuster, but I can’t do that again for six months (July 10). Then I redeemed another $15 in Borders Dollars for a couple of overpriced DVDs, but I can’t do THAT again until the beginning of the next calendar year.
So, next I subscribed to Blender, one of their 32 magazine offerings (five in Spanish only), for $10. I STILL have $36.60 left, but the only prizes left are magazines (Maxim, olf Digest, Fast Company, Smithsonian, Forbes, Wall Street Journal, Wine Spectator and others I am even less interested in, frequent flyer miles and $10, $25 or $50 off purchases at Levengers, Macy’s, Neiman-Marcus, Zales, FTD, ProFlowers and Omaha Steaks, but you must purchase $50 to get $10 off, $75 to get $25 off and $125 to get $50 off.
I suppose it might be worthwhile siging up at U-Promise, but it sounds like you get a lot less surveys.

If you're a gamer, then e-rewards is a great site...if you can get an invitation from them. I got mine through Gamestop. I've been a member since December of 2007, and I've received five $25 Gamestop giftcards. I more than halfway towards getting a 6th. Anyway, e-rewards was the first survey site that I joined, and I'm very pleased that I've been able to get $125 in free games from Gamestop from doing surveys on this site.

Hmm.. This might make me want to join eRewards but what are the odds that GameStop will invite me to join... Slim to nothing I think.
Oh cool play games ... well I recommend you head down to the Video Game Central (http://www.yourfreesurveys.com/forum/showthread.php?p=4962#post4962) thread and just let it rip with your comments on anything related to games...

Default E-rewards
I was reading some posts from 2008 about e-rewards so it made me curious about member's current experiences. I haven't had an invitation in over a year but I can log in and my membership is active. Since the economy downturn, I stopped renewing my magazine subscription with the hopes I can obtain them from survey- taking. E-rewards would be great for that if I received any survey invitations.
I updated my personal information on e-rewards (nothing has really changed, still married etc.) but thought the activity might spark a renewed interest in my account by the site
owner(s).
I will let you know if I receive an invitation

I receive a survey a week usually. I have two this week but only qualified for one. I like the gamestop certificates. I can have up to 4 a year or should I say One per quarter. So the last year I received $100 in gamestop gift cards which my son loved.

My last survey invitation from e-Rewards was February 22, 2009. No word from customer service on why I have not received more. I have contacted them several times about failure to send rewards and they have never answered the question.

I have not received a survey invitation at my email address lapisconnection@gmail.com since February 22, 2009. I was not concerned due to the poor rewards that you offer until I realized that my e-Dollars are about to expire on January 30, 2010. Can you tell me why you stopped sending email survey invitations to me?
Good Day,
Thank you for contacting e-Rewards. e-Rewards is firmly committed to providing our members with relevant e-mail. The areas of interest and selections you make on the enrollment survey will directly affect the type and quantity of e-mails, which are sent to you. The more interests you have, the more e-mails you will receive. While each member has the ability to select the maximum number of e-mails they wish to receive, please keep in mind that this number is the absolute maximum desired and is not a guarantee of the number you should expect to receive in a given week. The actual number you will receive is determined by two things: 1) The number of advertisers we have in a given week and 2) the stated interest of our members to receive offers in the categories for which we
have advertisers.
e-Rewards is dedicated to offering a quality membership program and, in keeping with our standards, we plan to grow at a sustainable rate with only the best sponsors and vendors in the industry.
We appreciate your interest in e-Rewards. In the event you have any further questions or comments please do not hesitate to contact us.
Sincerely,
Silvia
