Surveys That Pay!

The first thing every new survey taker asks is: "Which surveys pay and how much do they pay?" This is why I started keeping meticulous records of my forays into paid online survey taking since February 1, 2008. Here are the results to get the ball rolling. Feel free to start a new thread for each different survey site in order to ask specific questions. If you have general questions about taking surveys then ask them here.

It has been five months since I started taking paid online surveys on February 1, 2008 although I did not join many of these sites until March and April. I spend an average of one to two hours per day taking surveys. Here are the amounts that I have earned from 25 paid online survey sites (and one Get Paid to Try company - GPT). I am still evaluating nine other survey companies (Ampario, Buzzsponge, Directive Analytics, Elite Opinions, i/Click-Evisor, IPSOS, Resonance, Savitz, Survey Exchange and the Zandl Panel) and seven points-for-prizes/gift card sites (E-Poll, Harris, MemoLink, My Business Insight, OpinionCentral and OpinionSquare).

I was inspired by Lapis Lee's ranking to track my own surveys. So I will post my rankings here. I think I rank them a little different. I will rank them on money actually received. If I dont have enough to even request payment I wont even mention them here (I keep track on my own because I track money earned each week). I also wont rank points for gift cards/prizes sites because I usually do those surveys if I have nothing else better to do and I consider them just a bonus and hard to redeem (the only one a have gotten close to is Epoll and gotten a $5 amazon card from there).

I've read some very interesting stuff on here since i became a member last week. It got me thinking how much money can people actually make doing surveys on here??....and are there people on here who actually make a decent amount of money taking surveys online??....i'm lucky if i manage $130 a month....i'm not complaining or anything because the extra cash does come in handy. Anyway, i'm just interested in how much people can actually make on here.

In a month some people could make more than $100 if they are a member of the right website. Survey Spot and Opinion Outpost will give best paid surveys if you can wait until they realize your serious about taking surveys. But don't expect to make more than $600 a month since I consider that to be Farfetched.

I'd settle for $300 a month to be honest with you. I do have a couple of good surveys scheduled for next week and if i qualify for these interactive surveys i could make up to $130 for those two surveys alone.

Are you serious? $130 for just taking two surveys.. That is amazing and a little hard to believe but not when I think back when Survey Spot sent me a $120 survey two months ago. I didn't qualified but hopefully you will have better luck with those two interactive surveys. May I ask which survey panel invited you to take both of those surveys and which one pays the highest.

I have scoured the Paid Survey Forums and excluding all other forms of Internet cash income I have found that the single month record is $747 from surveys and referrals to survey sites alone. Referrals account for about $30-50 per month for this person and panel forums and Interactives account for about 50% of the total income. the same person reported that her average income from paid surveys alone was very close to $500 most month. From others I have frequently seen examples of people who average $200-300 per month easily and claim not to work on paid surveys full-time, but only devote an extra 2-3 hours per day.

My own situation after five months breaks down like this: I have earned $679.45 in five months from 25 surveys sites and one GPT site, which is $135.89 per month. My actual receipts, which have only started coming in during the past month or two due to my not having the PayPal option until last week are $508.94, which is $101.79 per month. I have not utilized the referrals yet, because I know they will only add another $20 at most to my current earnings and only about 15% of my earnings are from panel forums and Invoke Interactives.

You have officially made more money with online survey than I have. You have received over $500 but I'm 100% sure I have earned over $200 with PayPal. That is a lot of money in only four months.

Here are several reason why you have earned more cash than I have:
1) I started taking surveys with only one panel that didn't pay for every survey I took. As time elapsed, I joined panels when I was exposed to them. When I first started taking surveys, I had no idea how many panesl are out ther and I didn't have access to the YourFreeSurveys back in 2005.
2) You record all the surveys you have taken and I didn't start doing that until recently. Your system of only 25 survey panels is really good in eaning cash quickly.
3) You have a high $ in your TikTik Cash, SendEarnings, InboxDollars and YourFreeSurveys account which are all basically Offer sites.
4) I have yet to make a concrete earning report. I still working on that.

I have been taking surveys since 2005 and since then I have learned a lot about taking online survey. The first panel I joined was Harris Poll Online and after that I slowly joined website some good and some bad. In 2006, I joined Your2Cents and My Points that are good quality sites. In October 2007, I joined several websites that were a waste of my time including Fusion Cash, Survey Panel Group and Global Survey Group. I was overwhelmed by how many emails I got from this sites each day (20 to 30 emails each day). I also joined Inbox Dollars and Send Earnings

As times elapsed things got a little better for me. In late December, Inbox Dollars Send Earnings mean invite to join Pinecone Research. When I joined, I had no idea how good this website was, but I still joined to earn $1 in my Inbox Dollars account. In early 2008, I logged in to my Your Free Surveys account and found the link to the blog in the bottom of the main page. That move exposed me to new survey panels and an opportunity to win $200. Since then I have shared my experiences with online survey in the blog and now in this forum.

One thing that I haven’t shared with you all is my Earnings Report, so now I will do something that I was supposed to do a long time ago. To make the list more organized I will start with my Pay Pal Account. I will put the total surveys I have took with the panel next the cash amount.

Yes, Lee that is the amount i earned in July, i know the amount since i keep records, and also checked before posting. But, as i have mentioned the payment for most of that will probably come some time in august.

I have already received payment from opinion outpost, greenfield, lightspeed, cash lagoon etc. But as for the rest, the payments from offer sites will come sometime after August 15th.

I really did not keep a track of the payments i received in july, since those are payments that i redeemed sometime in JUNE, so i cannot post the exact amount. But from now, i am keeping track, to see if i can cross July's earnings.

I started keeping meticulous records of my paid online survey taking on January 30, 2008. I would like others to also post their results here as well. It has been six months since I started taking paid online surveys, although I did not join many of these sites until March, April or May. I have scoured the Paid Survey Forums and excluding all other forms of Internet cash income I have found that the single month record is $747 from surveys and referrals to survey sites alone. Referrals account for about $30-50 per month for this person and panel forums and Interactives account for about 50% of the total income. the same person reported that her average income from paid surveys alone was very close to $500 most months. From others I have frequently seen examples of people who average $200-300 per month and claim not to work on paid surveys full-time, but only devote two to three hours per day on average.

My own situation after eight months breaks down like this: I have earned $1436.05 in six months from 33 survey sites and one GPT site (TikTik Cash), which is $179.59 per month. My actual receipts, which have only started coming in during the past month or two due to my not having the PayPal option until last month are $1075.89, which is $134.49 per month. I have not utilized referrals yet, because I know they will only add another $20 at most to my current earnings. About 15% of my earnings are from product trials and Invoke Interactives.

I spend an average of four hours per day taking surveys. Here are the amounts that I have earned from 35 paid online survey sites. I have unsubscribed from Tik Tik Cash today after receiving my $100.06 payment from August 28, 2008. I am no longer willing to click on 2-3 emails per day for $0.02 each until I reach the $50 pay out. It's not worth it after you have signed up for all of the initial offers to reach the initial $100 minimum pay out. I have just received a $5 Reward Choice gift card from Survey Exchange and unsubscribed from this site after cashing the $5 Amazon gift certificate. These surveys can be taken elsewhere. E-Search, Brand Institute and Focus Forward are next on the chopping block for me.

I started keeping records of my paid online surveys January 31, 2008. It has been 16 months since I started. I spend an average of two to three hours per day taking surveys. Here are the amounts that I have earned from 32 paid online survey sites. I have earned $2964.08 in 16 months from 32 survey sites, which is $185.26 per month. My actual receipts are $2794.31, which is $174.28? per month. The average survey site earned $5.79 per month, but that does not take into account how recently I joined some sites, so I predict that this number will go up dramatically. I have added the dates that I joined each site as well as whether they have PayPal, Invokes or product trials. About 10% of my earnings are from product trials and Invoke Interactives. I do not keep track of prizes or free products, but I do include contest wins. I just joined Viewpoint, SurveyHead, Paid Survey Reviews and MakeExtraMoneyOnline in the past two months. Paid Survey Reviews and MakeExtraMoneyOnline pay you to write reviews of survey sites. I have retired Tik Tik Cash, a trial offer site, that I received $100.06 from and the invitation-only Capital One forum, which not only earned me $80.00 in Amazon gift certificates, but also awarded me an Apple MacBook ($1300) and Apple 8gb Touch iPod ($200) in their forum-ending contest in February 2009. I also stopped tracking Baker Street Solutions, Directive Analytics, Focus Forward and My Business Insight, as they are just too slow to be worthwhile.

I started keeping records of my online paid surveys January 31, 2008. I spend an average of two to three hours per day taking surveys. Here are the amounts that I have earned from my 30 best paid online survey sites. I have earned $3943.63 in 23 months from 30 survey sites, which is $171.46 per month. The average survey site earned $5.72 per month. My actual receipts are $3671.11, which is $159.61 per month. I have added the dates that I joined each site as well as whether they have PayPal, Invokes or product tests. About 10% of my earnings are from product tests and Invoke Interactives. I do not keep track of prizes or free products, but I do include contest wins. I only add in points accumulated after they have been redeemed due to the difficulty of calculating point values.

Since I have a full-time job I can't devote as much time as I'd like to surveys, but do try to get a few done every day. I probably average 1 to 2 hours per day on surveys. I started doing surveys at the end of April 2009. I just totalled up what I earned since then and I was surprised to see that it was $1400. I actually received $900 of that so far, I need to cash out on some sites and in some cases I am still short of the cash out levels. My top 10 sites were Opinion Outpost ,Your Free Surveys ,SurveyHead ,Valued Opinions Greenfield, Opinion Place, Lightspeed, Toluna, Mindfield and SurveySpot. The first survey site that I ever signed up for was e-rewards at the end of 2007. I got an invite through Gamestop to join this site. I didn't really sign up for any other sites until the end of 2008 and beginning of 2009. I was very diligent about doing my surveys through probably the first third of last year and then I took it easy during the middle of the year. I hit the surveys hard again during the 2nd half of the year.

The only earnings I had in 2008 were from e-rewards ($100). However, since the beginning of 2009, I've earned a little over $1,000 and cashed out about $700. I'm hoping to earn over $2,000 this year. Anyway, here are my top earners so far:

I have scoured the Paid Survey Forums and excluding all other forms of Internet cash income I have found that the single month record is $1224 from surveys and referrals to survey sites alone. Referrals account for about $50-100 per month for this person and panel forums and Interactives account for about 50% of the total income. the same person reported that her average income from paid surveys alone was over $500 most months. From others I have frequently seen examples of people who average $200-300 per month and claim not to work on paid surveys full-time, but only devote two to three hours per day on average.

My own situation after eleven months breaks down like this: I have earned $2217.20 in eleven months from 34 survey sites and one GPT site (TikTik Cash), which is $201.56 per month. My actual receipts are $1926.60, which is $175.15 per month. I have not utilized referrals yet, because I know they will only add another $20 at most to my current earnings. About 15% of my earnings are from product trials and Invoke Interactives.

Good stuff. It's pretty amazing that you've been to earn $3,500+ in each of the last 2 years. I started logging my weekly earnings after Thanksgiving. So far, I've been averaging about $60/week over the last 7 weeks, which puts me on pace to earn over $3,000 in a year. However, I'll be happy as long as I break $2,000 this year ($40/week). The extra income will come in handy.
